$30 gold plated edition I would buy one just so I wouldn't have to look at the awful Parallax model and listen to the pitiful sound it makes.
ya im getting tired of the model and the sounds also. it gets pretty boring after a while. we need something new and fresh !
I don't see a huge need for this, since the sniper rifles are identical across the factions. The sole exception is the VS semis.
Main appeal for NS weapons: you don't sound like the enemy. That's why there NEEDS to be an NS variant of each gun, for those that want to mask their faction specific sounds. No one expects a Vanu soldier without pewpew, which is a huge tactical advantage.
Technically, Vanu weapons are in for new, more gun like sounds with a distinct capacitor like after sound to it.

Hah... Interesting, a heavy sidegrade for AI instead of RL, or LA tool for AI/AV... Different ammo for it maybe in style of AvP2 ?
I hope its light assault, or everyone not infiltrator/heavy assault. They need something to give them a boost.
really they should produce a few gold plated NS weapons, even sniper guns, that are just expensive and for the luxury. There are people who would dump 30-40 dollars on an account wide gun juts because it is gold and they want to stand out. I don't see an issue with this if they are no more powerful than the guns we already have access to.
If the upcoming ns sniper rifle is anything like the new ns-44 then it will be one shotting maxed out nanoweave players @700m.
Making it completely impossible to tell which faction is shooting until you actually spot the shooter.
