    Guess we can maybe all agree it shouldn't really be on any class, and it's maybe a misguided attempt to add something that isn't needed just for the sake of adding something " new " ?

    Oh god yes , ive wanted this so bad for a while now..... though i do like idea of it staying on engi / heavy assault . i think it would be a great alternative to the classic rocketlauncher or turret . 10/10 would insta buy every buy

    I want it on my engineer as a replacement for the turret, I'm not a fan of the turrets and would like a more mobile choice for the engineer, something I've harped on for quite a while.

    On the HA I don't see the purpose if it's going to replace the rocket launcher, but at the same time whatever, would just be another launcher probably on the same vein as the shrike but with better dps and even less burst.

    Also no matter how you look at it the engineer and the HA are the AV specialists, no other class should have their range of dealing with vehicles etc.

    I'm not against an infiltrator having it so much as it just doesn't seem right, I agree the infiltrator could use some more toys (though I think the LA needs more of a revamp) but a direct AV weapon on an infiltrator seems out of place, special emp explosives to shut down weapons/maxes, possibly vehicle hacking and so on make more sense to me than a direct AV weapon.

    I believe light armor refers to harassers, ESFs, Valkyrie, and flashes.

    edit: I'm tired. Didn't see they could harm heavy armor. So I guess it depends on how powerful it'll be against heavy armor then. If it is anything like the Xbow though, we'll be fine.

    I think medic need that....every other class have anti armor except medics who use c4.

    It really is called an "anti-materiel rifle". Did a little reading on it, apparently its military use is for hitting unarmored or lightly armored targets. Real life version is a long range sniper rifle, using large caliber payload that is fired from a prone position. Mentioned already, I know, but I kinda wonder if they'll make it so it can only be fired while stationary. I'm hoping that's the case, with a little bit of set up time like a turret. Then I wouldn't care which class gets it.

    I am expecting Fury damage to vehicles, but on an infantry portable platform with less arc, and Pheonix damage to infantry.

    That said, I would rather see Infils or LAs get it as a tool slot item than HA or Engineers get it. Infils and LAs feel pretty anorexic compared to the other classes.

    I don't understand people who think they can decide which class gets this gun.

    Every class dies to vehicles, so every class gets this gun. Besides Max's of course.

    This isn't going to be a long range weapon so its a complete waste of time.

    No, I think it's a great addition, not necessarily for vehicles, but as a replacement to the rocket launcher, for Max busting.

    So now, instead of the ridiculously stupid ******* method of Max killing, by spamming rockets, you now have this POWERFUL rifle, that can beat up Maxes badly.

    The vehicle thing is nice too, but I think it should be mainly to replace rocket launchers, by making rocket launchers impossibly inaccurate on the move, or something to make them mercilessly hard to use against Maxes.

    Uhhh killing Max's is comically easy. We need stronger AV.

    A gun that you can plink armor for joke damage, at medium shell-eating range, isn't exactly going to get my wallet open.

    And don't forget the anti hovering ESF aspect, Lot easier to dodge a slow moving rocket than a bullet.
