[Suggestion] Normalize weapon damage

    Make all weapon damage 125 max across all factions. Higher damage weapons, even with their lower rof, are game breaking. 167/200 guns do not punish bad accuracy as much as 125 and 143, as it is fewer bullets to kill. Meanwhile 143 and 125 do punish accuracy, as if you miss a headshot youve screwed yourself over when fighting people with higher DPB guns. 143 are in the same boat as 167/200, but not as much for obvious reasons.

    While I prefer not to humor your threads, Balto. I personally believe that those weapons that punish you for missing headshots are great for learning how to consistently get headshots and reward player skill.

    Exactly. Thats why it should all be 125 so people get really good at 4-7HKs instead of just crutching on 3-4HK weapons at all distances

    ok. assuming this isn't a deliberate trollpost:
    isn't the opposite the case? with low damage/high rof guns i get a second chance to hit quicker and i don't loose as much damage per miss. this is also why i call BS whenever says that having 2 shots on a prowler is a disadvantage. you loose less damage per miss and you get a second chance to do at least some damage.
    never mind how boring it would make the game.

    Nerf guns, lets just fight with knives and grenades. Bullets seem to have too good of a TTK.

    No, it is not the opposite. If i shot at a 577 rpm/167dam user with a 698/143 the headshot TTK of each is as follows

    577 / 60= 9.6 BPS

    3 / 9.6=0.3125 Seconds to fire 3

    698 / 60=10.63
    4/10.63=0.3762 seconds to fire 4

    no but you do sometimes make irrational dumb posts like your spitfire OP thread but that said you cant make all weapons 125 damage tier snipers would be useless.

    Why stop at guns? All grenades should do 125 damage, all rockets, all tank cannons, all vehicle weaponry, log in screen should do 125 damage too.

    Here is the perfect solution: Marsh-mellows..

    we should all throw marsh-mellows at each other...

    Tanks can shoot banana pies...

    and rocket launchers shoot potatoes... ..

    or:
    infantry can only run backwards, with their arms tied behind their backs,
    while blindfolded, without shoes, and just bump each other to the ground...

    Sigh. Another one of these threads. Why I reply is beyond me.

    But anyways. Lets go ahead with the suggestion. All guns do 125 dmg. So the Carv and the SAW both do 125 dmg. Kinda stupid to have that, since the rpm makes the SAW the obvious loser. So next, we will have to make all weapons the same rate of fire. It's gotta be equal after all. So no need for smgs, or lmgs, carbines and so on and so forth.

    So now, you log in, create a character, and are instantly given your brand new.....lets say its an AR. Doesn't matter what faction you pick, because all three are identical in stats. Same with your pistol. Guess what, you now have the only 2 weapons you will ever get. No upgrades. No achievement special guns.

    Of course, everything would have to be equal. All aircraft, tanks, everything, all identical. The prowler/magrider/vanguard are all copies of each other, just different skins. Your brand new tank will never become any better than is is the very first time you pull it. No hover frames or magburners, no vanguard shields, no faster reloads, no thermal vision or anything. Because all that gives one player an advantage over another and we have to keep this even so that the more skilled player wins.

    So knowing what we know about modern gaming today, how many people here would like to play a game where there is NO variety. No upgrades. The only reasons to play are simple enjoyment, and of course the fun of spending money to buy the only changeable items in game, cosmetics.

    actually, i feel this has gone on long enough that the stupid people i want to reply to this thread will and not bother reading this far in without being stupid.

    This is supposed to be a post parodying scrinrushers remove 0.75 ads overtime, specifically his "0.75 ads wont be a nerf to the vs" mentality. My hope was that some nc players (it would be too much to ask for him to realize it) would come in and complain about their 167 tier weapons and a nerf to their whole empire, when 167 damage weapons are not a faction trait. However, a major nerf to all 167s would affect the nc the most, like a nerf to all 0.75 ads would affect the VS the most.

    Realizing that i did mention 200 damage weapons, that was just to make this post seem more serious than it actually is.

    And seriously, me never making a troll post? Do you really think im THAT stupid?

    all of my posts that arent directly related to infiltrator cloaking or adding various weapons to directives (ohk knives, sidearm kills to inf, etc) have a 90% chance of being complete ********. i admit this in almost every one, so this being a normal post is, well, normal.

    its a wrong fact that headshot ttk of 167 200 and 143 weapons is faster than the headshot ttk of (most) 125 weapons?show your math
