New screen freeze followed by crash (kill process)

    I went from having rare freezes to having 2-3 second freezes.

    Now that I applied the NVIDIA hotfix driver, I dont get the 2-3 second freezes anymore.

    However the the "permanent" ones are back.

    Screen freezes, nothing I can do, I wait, nothing happens, only solution I can find is kill PS2 process and restart.

    These aren't frequent, it's not every day, but every now and then.
