New pistols - Please screw over VS more

So basically, you found a video demonstrating the pistol firing, with no stats or info whatsoever, and you have decided it is OP?

Yea, and within like a week it became ridiculously powerful and is probably the best ESRL. Coincidentally, our MAX AV weapons are ******* ridiculous too. Vortexes are basically Lancers that shoot faster. While they aren't broken like Fractures, they're still stupid good at killing tanks.

VS has pretty much nothing underpowered.

My XP/min while using Vortexes in a suitable situation is usually about 500. Perhaps the problem is on your end?

I bought an Emperor and killed someone with it. Emperor has same damage output stats as VS Beamer. Therefore I would be able to kill someone with Beamer?

The TR one = plain insane.

The NC one = nerfed into ground once they sell enough (maybe sooner).

The VS one = probably naff solo, could be decent if used enmass for storming.

I hope the NC pistol will be like an UBSG. People are going to hate so much.

Rather boring that terran get automatic pistol when their repeater already is automatic if you press the button lots.

I'm pretty sure what he was saying is, it was released OP, then was nerfed into oblivion. Lancer was released not so good, then fixed to be a damn effective weapon.

I would rather get the "meh" weapon during release because it will most likely get buffed into something useful then left that way. The OP or already effective weapon, or the one that gets the most complaints on release will get nerfed into the ground.

As if that is a legitimate excuse. Not wanting the lasher pistol is not caused by 'boringness'. Not wanting the lasher pistol is caused by the fact that it will be significantly worse than the other two pistols and mostly useless.

Beamer isn´t bad per se, but its worse than the NC standard sidearm. The Manticore has identical stats to the standard NC sidearm, albeit with some minor differences on the negative side. So why do VS have to invest 500certs to gain a gun that is identical to what NC´s get for free?
The Beamer is fine as it´s own device. However, compared to TR/NC options it is lacking. So no, it´s neither useless nor UP, just worse than NC/TR choices.

Give me statistics to back up your ridiculous claim or I'll just add you to the list of morons who think VS are OP.

While the Vortex isn't bad at what it's designed for, it seems the developers give the TR and NC more than what's designed for. Both the Fracture (especially) and the Falcon's are reasonably effective against infantry (Ok the Fractures are a little too effective given that they are AV weapons). In order to be effective the VS weapons have had to go through a number of buffs just to make them better than other VS alternatives. Meanwhile, NC and/or TR weapons seems to start on the OP side and then are tuned down to a working state. This is what I believe the OP is pining in this thread.

So devs will it be a lasher pistol or the new hand held Saron HRB pistol?

Was thinking the actually cool looking one from Metal Gear Solid 2.

Charge mechanic on the pistol. Doesn't charge up in or before cloaking and can only hold charge for 5 seconds.

Actually I can see charge pistol work very well if charge happed passively. Your first shot is max power and if you keep firing at slow pace all your shots are, but if you want higher ROF in case of frantic CQ engagement you can mash that fire button to get much more but proportionally weaker shots. Could make for a very versatile sidearm.
