I am new to PS2 but have played call of duty, Dust 514, and MWO. I am looking to fill a combat medic role with a team that uses voice comms and is serious/competitive and willing to train me. I am a former Marine and a former Combat Medic. I am looking for a team that plays consistantly and has a solid member roster. I am a Paramedic in real life and work an odd schedule but only work 15 days a month. My computer is an Alienware X51 fully loaded. I have multiple headsets so comms are never a problem. I have excellant internet connection.
Competitive hmmm? I think you might find a good home with the Templars. We LOVE Combat Medics, my personal favorite class. We LOVE rapin Barneys and Elmos in the butt, my personal favorite thing to do. Serious? You will find that we are mature as well. RL schedule is no problem, all of us have real lives! We like to have an operations schedule so you can plan ahead for a guaranteed time when you can get on and roll with the team, kickin ***. The link in my signature will take you to both our website and our teamspeak 3, feel free to hop on and check us out anytime Outfit Leader: VVar Commanders: KingofSpades, Joshinya42 Feel free to look us up in game as well, we usually have a squad running. We are recruiting new members and officers daily!
Are you the same BadKarma that played World of Tanks with XuG? In any case, it sounds like Sturmgrenadier(larger), 7th Cavalry(more rigid), or Imposition(good leadership) could be a good fit. I don't know much about GOON, but they may fit the bill too. A lot of us smaller outfits will probably not have someone on at all hours, so you may want to target GOON or SG.
I finally met someone from SG tonight. I'm retracting my endorsement of them until they are proven better. I will endorse the guys I've met from Imposition, The Terribles, and 2nd Recon though.
You sound like a great fit for any serious outfit to be honest. I am a member of SG and we are always looking for mature/serious gamers. It sounds like you may have had a very poor first impression but I encourage you not to pass up a great opprotunity to be a part of a great gaming syndicate. We have a growing MWO community that is trying to get squads together on a regular basis, along with dozens of other gaming portals that you find others to play with. Our Planetside 2 Portal is continually growing and we pride ourselves on being teamwork oriented with a combined arms approach to PS2. We try to run recruitment squads on a regular basis and I hope that you get a chance to join one. If you have any questions or there are any issues that I can clear up, please ask away. I look forward to seeing you on the battlefield!
Good Morning BadKarma1775, SMG is a mature, calm & organized gaming group who utilize military structure & teamwork. We have dedicated Infantry/Air training weekly and practice what we teach. The coordination and techniques we run through in training are actively used during our operations. While I personally am not in the armed forces we have many active and retired armed forces members so that may be an aspect of our community you would enjoy. Regarding our outlook on PS2, I wouldn't call SMG "hardcore" per say we are dedicated to excelling at PS2 but that doesn't mean you cant have fun doing it. You will never be forced to play a class/vehicle you have no interest in and we have multiple divisions for you to try out if you haven't found your niche. After a while if you decide that niche isn't you anymore and you want to run something else then you are welcome to do so. SMG would love for you to check us out if your interested. Our website is www.sunderhq.com and in game our squad names have the SMG tag prominently displayed. If you would like more information please feel free to PM myself, Foozlekiller or Kaylim on the forums or talk to any SMG member you see in game. Hopefully I will see you in game sometime soon, Forlorn Hope
You sound like you'd be a huge boon to the 11th Armored Cavalry since we don't have a lot of folks typically running medic. I hope I'm not too late to recruit you. We here at the 11th Armored Cavalry (or 11th AC for short) are a group that uses tanks alot to get from place to place. Once we sweep into an area we dismount and then clear out anyone there. We got people good at being Heavy assaults, great at being engineers, but we don't have anyone who really enjoys being a medic yet. Hopefully you can be the first. We have a solid group so far with many members being former military. Our current acting leader is a Veteran in fact. Typically during one of our scheduled operation you can expect between 5 - 10 members to be online. On a non op scheduled night you can still find a decent number of us popping on. I'll just post our website for you to look over and our video. If you've got any questions at all feel free to message me and I'll be happy to talk with you more. http://11thacr.enjin.com/
Indeed I recommend Sunder Military Gaming, only been with them a month and haven't regretted the choice. Everyone is friendly and willing to help you out, and just a fun group to hang out when during off hours and non-op nights :3
I'm going to say the same thing I usually do: Try them out in-game. Most good outfits run open squads/platoons, and the best way to get to know a group is to play with them. Yes, look them up on the forums. Yes, look at their websites. But you MUST play with them and be on their comms for a bit before deciding who to stay with. That said, I'm going to shamelessly plug NoNonsenseGamers. We'd love to have you, and we've got lots of people willing to helpp teach others in almost all aspects of the game.

If you wish to join an outfit that is commited to being the best. Co- -me and join The Enclave which is a TR outfit that resides on the server Mattherson. Requirements to join are BR 10, Communica- -tion and listening to the leader. It can be quite strict during ops. But is really chilled, and mellow outfit when ops is not currently r- -unning. Oh and our Leader is Buzzcutpsycho!
