I had an idea today when I realized something that's proven to be both extremely popular and effective could stand to be countered. Namely, Night-vision scopes on Liberator belly guns. They make their targets light up and basically impossible to miss, so I thought that perhaps a counter could be developed. My idea is this: A light shield that can be deployed by engineers and has an area of effect. It would not pose any physical protection directly, but rather it would simply be bright enough to blind Night Vision scopes aimed directly at it. Thoughts?
The only problem I have with engineers is they don't really do a lot of engineering. Deconstruction, for example, doesn't sound like something everyone should be able to do. You have to get the vehicle from a specific location; why allow anyone to painlessly get rid of it anywhere?
