How comes that the (a) dev(s) and the Moderator are now more active on this forum? Has Reddit been closed lately?
I think the poor guy is sick in bed and has nothing better to do. Get well soon! More seriously, I love it that they are showing their face here a bit. Even if it is with small non-commital comments. It just shows they do care.
Isn't it cause the guys on the Reddit are gunning for him at the moment after he pretty much said "you guys should be capable of paying certs, if not sucks to be you, we are only helping the newbs"... I mean that place has more salt than Don Jaun pond, currently they are irritated and are all superheated due to their seething anger at not getting given stuff and that was like throwing them into water... nice big salty explosion... since it's his job to "interact" with the community, it wouldn't do that he wasn't so while they are cooling down, he came here to make it look like he was working... or that's my theory.
Well if thats a way to avoid more negative community relations... And hey, it is a positive thing here.
I was pleasantly surprised by this as well. I dont know if it matters but im going to try and be as positive as i can about this, to keep them here as long as possible. Even if its just in the form of upvoting their posts.
Yup, of course also if we play our cards right, we might secure their return entirely regardless of the state of the reddit, which would be nice...
You can all thank me. I filled in a survey a few months ago and it asked how they could improve and I said more of a presence on the official forum would be a great improvement. But seriously, I think it's great.
No objections here. Official forums in my book should always be priority over other sites.If only because not doing so sends a message that only the opinions of a small subset (those who frequent that specific forum) matter. Plus most of the people on reddit and its ilk are the sort who get angry if they don't get exactly what they want no matter what the long term cost to the game. They don't care if catering to (for example) the K/D-chasing stat ***** in an ESF drives away so many players that the game shuts down in 3 months. To them that 3 months of being "top dog" is all that matters. Now if they'll just hire Sporkfire back....
