[Suggestion] new consumable idea

    Okay this is a stretch, but hear me out. A damage booster that the infantry can activate that will last for say 10 seconds. You could think of this as a last ditch effort to survive. You could also use it when trying to siege a base or entering a room. It would take the place of the medkit. Fully upgraded would give 4 like the medkits. So its just a thought, post what you think. Thxs.

    DEFINITELY NOT.

    If you study how PS2's weapons are built, they're all carefully balanced to deliver a certain amount of damage in a certain amount of time (damage scaling, RoF, accuracy etc.). CQC weapons generally deliver damage faster, but have penalties on the range at which they can deliver the damage. Range weapons deliver less damage, but have better accuracy so that they can deliver their damage over longer ranges etc.

    This idea will straight up break the damage system that's in place. It'll be like a new overshield in terms of impact on the game - except that it's available to every class.

    In addition, the majority of players who enter a room with multiple people will get killed. This item might mean that they get one kill before they go down, but they're still going to die. It won't change anything. On the other hand, there are a very small number of elite players who can clear whole rooms solo. This item will only really help them as they'll be able to clear even more people out of a room solo than they were before.

    PS2 skill-gap is already wide enough between the 'lites and the ordinary scrubs like me. It doesn't need to get any wider.

    and considering what you said infiltrators would decimate everything. I was thinking of certain guns that were weak like the lasher. but this would be a bad idea especially with high RPMS.

    How do bullets know to start dealing more damage? Why wouldn't they always deal more damage?

    Force = Mass x Acceleration

    So since NC and VS have futuristic bullet propulsion technologies i suppose you could get away with saying the gun puts more energy into the propulsion of the projectile therefore increasing its A, which in turn increases its F.

    Hard to bull-**** how the TR does it tho.
