    Hey Guys .
i am sick of always running the game on low and still get low FPS , sometimes it's 25 and sometimes it drops to 15

    My PC Spec is .
    CPU: Intel core i5-3330 3.00GHz 6MBytes Cache
GPU: NVIDIA GeForce GT 630 4GB
    MotherBoard: ASUS P8B75-M
    Ram: 8 GB
    PowerSupply: Geforce 500W

i want to buy new video card that runs the game on medium or high with getting low FPS and in the same time it must be cheap ( that's why i am asking you guys )
Cheap GPU that runs the game well.
and without upgrading the cpu or anything else .
Thanks for your time to read this ...

4gb on a cheap video card like that? lol.

    Whats cheap to you BTW?

I say anything from $150-$200 should be enough to run this game at high/meduim with ur PC.

Hell anything decent maybe even below $150 will be a huge improvement over the 630, I think.

I'd be interested in knowing this as well - where are the diminishing returns with GPU in this game?
  4. G.O.A.T

    Diminishing returns? WTF?

The better the Video Card you get, the better the result you'll get.....Sure if you have a crappy CPU, you will still get not so great results compared to somebody with great CPU.

It would be a good idea for you to define 'cheap', and your country. GPU prices vary by location, so someone's recommendation may be based around a price point that isn't available where you live.

It would also be a good idea to make sure that you are not CPU bound when playing the game. If you magically got a NVidia Titan, your CPU still may leave you at 30 fps. Use ctrl+f in game and see what pops up beside the framerate (you may need to turn off smoothing).

i am saying cheap because , these stuff in my country are extremely expensive here
decent GPU here cost around 2000 pounds that means around 286 dollars to your currency , maybe that's not expensive to you
but within the salaries we take here it's not that easy .
  7. Stellus

Just as an example, if a 760 GPU lets me run the game at its highest settings at a decent framerate, then why would I spend $500 more on a 780 ti? There's obviously some state of diminishing returns where the trend graph slows down as you near the end of it.

Also known as "best bang for you buck".

i am literally running everything on low and off , if possible .
want a decent GPU that cost around 200$ in most
and when i press Ctrl+f , what pops up is the GPU .

GearsOfWaR can you just post a link to a shop you plan to buy from? That would make it easier for us to determine what card is the best bang for buck in your budget.

Also, what's your monitor's maximum display resolution?

And finally, what exactly is your power supply's model? There is no such power supply as Geforce 500W. Geforce is an NVIDIA GPU brand, not a PSU brand.

Because you could play it at a much better Framerate? which if you have a good monitor, you can take advantage of.

Also maybe even play it at a higher resolution if you have a good monitor.

Diminish returns no....Bang for your buck yes.

    Good Luck champ.

I have dual 680GTX EVGAs, 16 GB RAM, I7 3770 @ 3.5 or 3.6 don't remember, and a good ASUS monitor. And I still get down to 15 FPS where PS2 is supposed to really shine, and about 200 where I don't need them, Smoothing active or not. That's not even on Ultra, I had turn off some specific options here and there.

But I'll let the Gurus talk, before I get told my PC is old and sucks... While I run BF on all max and still enjoy solid play.

what i am gonna do when i buy a new GPU is keeping the shadows off because it's just eats the FPS
so i turn it off and that is gonna makes me turns some other stuff up.

I just upgraded but I used to have a gtx560Ti and that was fine on high everything apart from shadows and physx.

There's nothing wrong with your card. I'd say low fps is more down to the processor and upgrading the card won't do much if anything.
  14. Tommyp2006

Get a gtx 660ti or better. I ran this game on ultra with a amd 6950 and it was fine, in this game you will be most often limited by your cpu.

Get a GTX 750Ti. It is really power efficient so you won';t have to upgrade your PSU and at the same time in the $100-200 range and it has good performance .
  16. Predatorv2

I use a GTX 560 Ti 448 with everything on max (only shadows not on ultra) with 60 fps with vsync on almost all the time. On the other side i have an i7 4770k oc @4.2Ghz.
  17. Golconda

dunno if it can help you, but I recently bought this pc (which lacks HDD and DVD player but you can use what you have now just like I did)

and the game runs at unedited-ultra-settings and full HD at 50~60 fps depending on the hawtness of the fight. it's a cheap deal for what it does, maybe you can just upgrade to that kind of configuration.
  18. GearsOfWaR

if i got the gtx 560 ti or the 660 ti
would i have issues with my current CPU or it's good enough .

Dude, you should be getting much better performance with that rig. mine is not nearly as good and I can run with max settings. 30 fps is as low as mine drops and 50-60 is average. I am running an i5 3570K, a Sapphire Radeon 7970 with boost, 8 gigs of ram on win8 and an SSD. I run with the res at 1920x1080 with all in game settings maxed. My max frames goes up much higher if I don't have frame limits on. Basically it runs well enough that I have never lagged to the point that I noticed, even in big battles. Your rig should destroy mine, unless you are trying to run on a huge monitor with a much higher res.

GTX 660. But chances are your GPU is just dying or something, how long have you had it and is it being cooled properly?
Also go to this site so you can see whether or not your parts are going to be compatible. I used the hell out of it when I built my PC.
