Since the Alerts have started I have seen that the outfits are starting to put aside their differences and work together. As these alerts go on I hope that corporation continues to grow. Because of that I think it is high time that we on Waterson had a unified outfit command. Right now it is just those in Leader chat trying to work together. On other factions and other servers there are outfits that work hand in hand. (7CAV and SG for example.) I can see some of the NC outfits on this server doing something like this. Not exactly the same but more like the United Nations. What I propose is that we could have a group of representatives that could talk for the different outfits. This would make outfit coordination easier because the contacts for each group would be know. My idea: each outfit that has more than 100 players, (could be changed) would send one representative. These reps would meet once a week or month to discuss Ops and attack plans for the coming week. Also, these reps would act for the outfit both in and out of the game. If each had something like Skype or Mumble it would allow outfits to contact each other at any time to discuss plans and ideas.This would cut down on the confusion about who is leading the outfit at that time and allow communication that is not limited by the in-game chat system. It is not complete but I think that something like this would help to bring the NC Waterson Outfits closer together to help win the war on our server. I welcome any comments and I would like all of your feedback. I came up with this because I noticed that on Leader chat that there was no real leader, just everyone trying to yell the loudest to be heard. Kyle
I commend your intiative Kylesal. I'll speak with Blackweb, the CO of [PHX], that the other Senior Officers of the outfit about this. Even if we don't have weekly meetings, just getting together occasionally and talking would go a long way to help our cohesion and coordination. [PHX] is also aware of the current state of the NC command chat on Waterson, it has been improving as of late which has been nice, and we are making it a point to begin communicating more, and on a more regular basis.
Thanks Razzyman. All it takes is a few of the outfits to band together to help with cooperation and hopefully the rest will follow. It has just been from what I have seen is that nobody really knows what the other outfits are doing, especially during Alerts. Just a few of us banding together would go a long way towards not getting warpgated each Alert, help us to hold more ground, and to cut down on the teamkilling hopefully. Kyle
