Well I had a mixed feelings from yesterday's fightings. It proved how at least couple of tanks are invaluable to the empire's progression. Bashing our heads against a wall of magriders while we couldnt use our tanks was simply frustrating. Even Annihilators didn't help with their occasional lock bug. But meh, the golden rule of MMOs - never play on a patch week.
You can't really blame them, they've only seen the northern half of the map and they easily get confused when they see the trees around our new WG, when they're confused they go to the only place that makes any sense to them and that, sadly, is the Crown.
The Crown will forever be the bane of the TR, I say remove it! It was obviously implemented to balance our the TRs awesomeness. But you will see, if we just cap the continent once it will be ours until the next update. You know, if we can keep the crown from falling into our hands. Indeed, or on expansion releases. Unless you happened to be a HC raider in which case you were expected to perform the first raid on the first or second week after release. It was still awesome though, sleep deprivation makes vent hilarious. But yeah, I couldn't really play after GU2, my games keep crashing randomly and i have to restart the computer, gonna log on and see if the hotfix fixed it for me. :S
Well the Crown is a blackhole, if you get too close you wont be able to escape. Unless you have superior VS technology ofc, our totally OP Mag´s which fire at 50% the speed of TR tanks, can no longer climb up to the Crown, so all VS go somewhere else! Everyone knows that VS has no infantry, the "infantry" we bring to fights are the gunners that get kicked out of the MAG´s, because they pilots want extra EXP for capturing! How are we now supposed to transport our troops?:/ It´s hard enough to get a decent sized infantry force deployed, but now we can no longer swarm the mountains with MAG´s we have to use roads, and roads can only take so many MAG´s.... Guess our scientists have to find a way to let our MAG´s hold more troops, like a MAGSundie!
Obviously they need to give VS Gals to ability to magnetically attach Magriders onto it, it's the only balanced solution. That way they can both retain their mobility from before, get up hills (they can drop at will ofc, VS super magnets and all) and fire from new exciting angles! I can't play! WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH! Game keeps crashing after 15-30 minutes.
Imagine if they could attach to a gal, you'd never see a VS Liberator ever again, there would only be gals with 5+ mags attached to strategic points of the hull.
And on top of that. The few guys that are NOT in a Magrider are being driven over by mine. Sorry guys, had to run! <3 pulse
In order to balance this TR would get 12 prowler cannons in deployed mode (one for each person in the fall) on their Galaxies.
Obviously, that's something I took for granted. And in order to balance this NC will get a shotgun attachment to their Flash, Galaxy, Tanks and Sunderers which is only effective within 15 meters, and against infantry only.
Yeah that seems fair, they're getting a shotgun sidearm, they have shotguns on ther MAX and even a shotgun on the Reaver, so why not on the rest of the vehicles?
Sounds like the Tank Buster I've gotta say that i liked the Vanguard before the latest Hotfix. I can only imagine the face of the guys sitting in their Vanguard shooting the enemy with a lot of loud air......SOE really overdid this one. Feel free to blame Higbys dog. The funny thing is how they "postponed the patch due to Q/A reasons".....yeah right...what? They honestly think we believe they tested this patch? If they did, then someone ought to talk to those testers because obviously they didn´t pay much attention. While I can give them some leeway in the performance department -- it´s hard to see if the performance is good when you only do some small scale test-- I can´t accept the plainly obvious bugs, like minimap ghosts, duds in most of the canons, broken tanks etc. Imho a rollback would be a good idea, and then have them set up a public test server, where they can adjust and fine tune that patch. Something that should´ve been done in the first place. But why have a public test server when you can just force your free aswell as your _paying_ customers to test it for you, on a live server >_<

Well I do remember that they wanted to add a giant vanguard shotgun, that fired shotguns that fired even more shotguns, that fired shotguns, that fired shotguns, that finally fired a shotgun blast of nuclear powered pellets.
Shotgun for a Tank, thats called a cannister shot. As far as I know, not used anymore. So it would be perfect for NC, I mean you guys sure know how to use scrapmetal to run your pathetic little insurgency. Magrider will just get the old Vanu AI BFR Laser, I enjoyed cutting through whole squads by merely touching them for a fraction of a second. Technology is might! And lasers rule!
