NC Team Killing, a common practice?

So I've recently started an NC character, mainly to see if they suit my play style a bit better (more powerful guns).

One thing I've noticed right away is the amount of team killing that goes on. I'm not talking about stray bullets or crossfire, I'm taking about other players shooting me on purpose. It happened several times when I was traversing Esamir. While the snowmen are out, if I need to get from A to B instead of redeploying, I'll take a flash instead and look out for snowmen on the way. Several times, I was blown up either by an ESF, or a Harrasser. I even had a friendly ESF dog fight me!

But it can't all be blamed on snowmen. Twice tonight, I've been helping the NC cap facilities, and I've had people just kill me on site. I drove all the way up to a facility we were capping, which didn't have a spawn point (no sundy), and when I got there, a player called "Flashy" shot me in the head! When I quizzed him about it he simply stated he didn't like me... He was part of an outfit, I guess he didn't want me to get any capture XP?

So is this just how the NC is? If so, I'm inclined to go back to TR, atleast the players were friendly.

As common as TR and VS teamkillers.

The Snowman Madness will end soon enough. I can't speak for Miller but most of the TKs I see are from people walking through me while I'm firing. At point blank range a Reaper/X11/SAW will kill the person faster than you have time to react.

Flashy looks like he gets a lot of TKing done. Great target for killing on sight imho. Especially be sure to blue up and vehicles he may be in.

It happened to me a lot less on TR tbh.

They are after your bonus cheques

I noticed an increase in the amount of teamkillers lately. Basically whenever I go afk for about 5 minutes in a spawn zone, I'm likely to get teamkilled. Then there're randoms who just go shooting teammates a lot, I've been knifed a total of 3 times in an engineer turret, and there're about 2-3 NC players that I would kill on sight, merely to save my own skin...

I've never knowingly had an NC kill me, though there are a few times when I get 100% NC damage on me on a death screen in a combat situation – I write those off as accidental though.

I do TK a little more on my NC though, just because the NC MAX is a bit unforgiving if a player steps in front of me or I'm trying to shoot an infil before it drops a mine on everyone.

Its very common tbh. Look at this way the faction has some really good stuff but yet all you see is whining about everything so take that how you want but it is what it is.
I remember a few weeks ago I was in a sky guard taking on 3 ESF's, killed one and switched to another one that was coming in low as I was using a bank to help for cover had the shots lined up open fire before he could use the pods, guns blazing some snowflake drives over the bank with his flash and blocks my shots giving the ESF enough time to line up and get the rocket pods off, but the bank took most of them, the other ESF was coming in and snowflake C4'ed my lightning while i was ripping the ESF apart. The good news is I think the Rocket pods killed him.
The NC on Connery wasn't always like that tbh when I first started they had the most chill dudes with some very good players, as of late though its always some BR 10 or something being a *****.

What really gets me is when people place mines in the spawn room to try and get kills after a base gets capped, but inevitably some HA messes up a rocket or someone fails at throwing a grenade out of the spawn and it kills half the people in there.

Just stop already, please.

You just had an unusually bad session. I've never been tk'ed on purpose as far as I can remember, atleast not by fellow NC. The few times i've had someone specifically target me have been obvious alt characters made by TR/VS players looking to TK sunderers/tanks

This is across the last 2 days I've been running my NC character. To be honest, I love it. The guns are great, and I'm really enjoying it. I do feel there was more team play in the TR though. I got in to a good platoon for the Bio Lab alert earlier today, and had a lot of fun. However, generally, there aren't as many platoons, and the ones that are there don't seem to be very organised (player all over the map). And then of course, there I get TK'd 2-3 times a session.

Happens now and again but not to any degree I would say is a problem ... The Snowmen bring out the worst in people

NC seem to be the most unforgiving of all the factions. I have accidentally shot someone once or even a tank/ESF and had them turn around and take me out countless times. Then there are the guys that are doing it for fun, testing hacks, I don't know...

Snowman-hunting TK's are rampant now, of course. There are also groups of people who create alts on your faction to 'keep your forces down with TK's' when fighting over a territory/zone, by the way.

The TR seem to be the most forgiving, I have accidentally hit many people and usually they don't do anything or stand there as I hit V-8 (for "Sorry"). Perhaps they are the most forgiving for accidents because they have the highest capacity magazines lol

Why do NC TK? Have you ever been assaulting a base and THAT GUY with his Sundie with the horn on non-stop for 20 minutes? That's the reason we TK.

More of it today. Pulled a flash so I could zip solo to the next capture point. There were lots of NC at the vehicle pad queuing for vehicles. As I come off the vehicle pad someone head shots me down to 1% hp. I didn't stick around to find out who it was. Luckily there was a friendly medic at the next point who healed me.

Yesterday when I was in a max I had at least 3 people shooting at me from behind when I was trying to get in to cover, and even after I got into cover to heal up 2 of the guys kept shooting and I died. Another time was when I was at a sundi trying to get healed up as a max again and this guy just opens fire on me and kills me, not even an engi but a heavy.

Oh the NC never cease to disappoint

I eject and kill my gunners who don't listen over proximity chat and I accidently run over literally dozens of NC every week.

But no, I usually don't get teamkilled intentionally by the NC when playing medic or driving around.

I'm NC. Once, we were assaulting a Biolab, and there was a good bunch of us in one of the teleporter rooms. I accidently hit the grenade key and TKed like 20 of us. I felt so terrible lol.

Last night, in a Biolab again, I had placed a turret down, and was helping to hold back a wave of TR MAXs. For some reason, every NC MAX in the area decided they'd try and save the TR by standing in front of my turret while I was shooting. I;d say, alot of TKing is accidental, but a good portion must come from people standing in front of turrets because they want all the shots for themselves.
