Lol, no it is not if you use it properly. I have seen some good players that actually use it and they position them self correctly so that they are rarely hit. if you are low ground you need to compensate with diffrent cover or use top composite armor.

This is correct. VS and NC have their pros and cons but are mostly evenly matched. But the TR infantry have significant (20%+) advantages when capturing bases. Their support class weapons can demolish NC heavy assault pretty easily. They just go full auto and with the low recoil and fast RPM they roll over almost everything.
SOE could fix this so easily by adding Info on each empire...NC for advanced players (advised) pick this empire on your own risk.
It's related to what you're trying to say. You can't simply say something is balanced because it is written on a piece of paper. Try it in game, because this is what happened in Starcraft. People say all races are balanced, and most of the time it's the Terran in SC2 who defends themselves because they have the upper hand a lot during beta until 2 years later when the devs finally balanced the races out. You know what was the Terran defense most of the time though? "Every unit has a counter to the other l2p." People started laughing at them after Blizzard changed the races. You say things aren't relevant because you want everyone to agree with you. As others have said relevant info about NC guns compared to TR guns, you bring them down because it's not what you want to hear. So put your ego away and open up your arrogant mind. People don't attack for no reason, and people don't defend so heavily for no reason. You don't want to lose your 60% farm ratio on the NC? Too bad, because it's coming, it's time for you to fight TR more as well. NC sees the problems, TR/VS defends themselves so they don't have a harder time fighting NC. It's simple as that. It's not because you and the rest of the people defending think NC is fine, it's because you guys want to win easier against the NC. Gather a group of people to have them play all three factions. I guarantee you that if they're all honest, 90% of that group will prefer TR/VS over NC.

However, people like Pax thinks that all factions are so balanced right now that nothing should ever be changed. People don't attack a certain topic for no reason. It's like real life, unless you're a psycho, why would you attack someone for no reason? Unless all NCs are psychos, NC is attacking this balance issue because many of us believe that we are being outgunned. The balance is not totally off to the point where NC cannot capture a continent, however, it does affect individual performance which can lead to victory for NC in the long run. Gameplay differs from stats on a piece of paper. Nothing is proven until actually tested. It's just like when you learn something new, do you actually want to see it in action or just accept what is told to you? I don't see why TR/VS is saying "NC is fine according to this chart" when obviously, NC experiences a different experience in the actual game. The charts just show how the weapons damage, recoil, spread, etc. changes over time, none of them include (none that I've seen): How does your performance change when taking fire? What happens when you jump and fire? What happens if your screen is shaking? Etc. All of these questions can be answered through gameplay experience, not a piece of paper showing stats for the guns themselves.
There is a reason this thread has 10k views. This is a problem, and people recognize it whether they agree with it or not. It exists because of both parties, and will continue to do so. Cue Beta Forum VS and TR whiners.
10k views spread out over 20 people arguing in circles (because half those people don't believe in numbers) doesn't mean there's a problem.
No, the numbers are favorable to TR and VS not NC. It's a problem. Numbers are there. Bunch of people twisting numbers to make it so NC is not underpowered when they are.

Because when you have an argument of "Is it raining or not" sometimes it's best to just get out of the house and get wet. Even if you have a full-blown meteorogical station in your house. You keep assuming that recoil and bloom happens per bullet. Do you have any proof of this other than guesswork? Did you see the souce code? You didn't. I didn't either. Your guess is as good as mine. So you look at the meteorogical station and keep saying it's not raining while people constantly come to your house wet. Why do you think so many people consider NC guns noticeably harder to control/operate? Mass hallucination?
I rolled an NC for the first time today. I was interested in joining an outfit, but it would require I reroll NC. Those weapons....ugh. I was so used to my VS, it came as a shock to see bullets going everywhere. The recoil is horrendous. As a light assault, I felt like I was trying to spray people with a minigun. Accuracy is terrible. After a few hours of that, I logged back onto my Vanu and went back to happily killing NC. At least I feel sorry for them now. Anyway, I'm your enemy and even I agree, your weapons suck.
