NC isn't underpowered!

    Did anyone EVER see a Reaver swarm?
    If anything, it's the NC that needs anti air weapons. Mossies are the ones that swarm over everyone and everything.

    I've seen Scythe swarms before. Not a pretty thing to be on the receiving end of. Seen Mosquito swarms too. Never Reaver swarms. Probably because they're the lower-end ESF.

    I really want to know how much Frames Per Second you get OP, This does effect the RoF of your guns. And PS2 Is all about RoF, Humbug to anyone that says otherwise. RoF is more bullets to someone else. More Bullets means more Damage...

    My only beef with the TR guns is their Accuracy/recoil, being able to SNIPE with the Trac-5 and Hip Fire it at Mid Range and hit almost every shot is where I feel that their claimed "OPness" rests...

    I still feel though that the weapons should be something like this...
    TR - 5 shots to take down Shields, 5 Shots to kill. 10 shots in the count of 5 - Takes more shots to kill but it takes less time
    NC - 5 shots to take down Shields, 2 Shots to kill. 7 Shots in the count of 7 - Takes less shots to kill an Unsheilded Foe
    VS - 2 shots to take down Shields, 5 Shots to kill. 7 Shots in the count of 6 - Shields mean little to the VS.

    I don't know exactly how many FPS I get, but it's at least 60. No lag or framerate drops whatsoever

    Maybe its cause I am Certed into carrying tons of Tankmines that I seem to pop like a bubble...

    Here's what I think is wrong, the average player can't handle NC weapon recoil- a veteran FPS player can, and the NC weapons are strong in those hands. That's mostly the reason why NC sucks on infantry on most servers, I have an NC alt and they're CONSTANTLY being pushed back to warpgate because they cannot gain momentum on indoor fights at bases. The AC-X11 is probably by far the best weapon I've used in PS2 so far.

    I personally get kills easier with an NC weapon over my main VS, TR is fairly easy too but with certain TR guns (like the T9 Cycler or the Trac-S).

    Let me use what you said, switch a few words and make sense of it with any combination:

    1. Don't you think that the fact one faction(and one faction only) having guns that do significantly more damage than others is, in itself, an imbalance?

    2. Don't you think that the fact one faction(and one faction only) having guns that have no bullet drop is, in itself, an imbalance?

    3. Don't you think that the fact one faction(and one faction only) having guns that do less damage than others is, in itself, an imbalance?

    I can keep going if you want, every faction has bonuses and bad things going for them and you are exaggerating the recoil thing a bit don't you think? If I hold my T-32 Bull LMG for TR at full auto my recoil will literally bring my iron sights up higher than 3 people standing on each others heads. The reason that doesn't happen is I progressively pull down on my mouse.

    Also, I have an NC alt on Connery and the only reason I can't stand playing with the NC is because I get run over 10 time more than on TR, grenades blow me up 10 time more and the overall skill of the players is way below the average pub player on TR. I really think there are good NC players but in comparison to VS and TR, the majority of NC players are not good and do some of the most uniquely bad things I have ever seen in this game. No I am not exaggerating on this, I have asked many other people and they all have concurred that NC players are usually on a much lower skill level than TR and VS players and yet they still manage to warpgate people on all 3 servers I have an alt on. If they were so terribly imbalanced, like the OP said, we would see NC warpgated all the time...

    The problem is not exactly with the NC guns(excluding SAW that needs to be looked at by devs asap) but with how the whole gun mechanic is at current point.
    We are at slight disadvantage due to lower ROF and stronger recoil when both sides fire at each other.
    We are at disadvantage due to lower ROF when NRS bug happens.
    On top of that add stock gun for most played class HA the SAW that is horribly newbie unfriendly. That means we either have lower overall EHP due to lack of overshield(playing more user friendly gun clases) or using SAW that is puting us at disadvantage in terms of firepower due to above averange player handling requirements.

    Second issue is Warp gate placement. Whining doesnt make it better since it seems that on many servers on indar both VS and TR are more interested in pushing towards NC territories than fighting each other. Its very common to get sandwitched by VS and TR that start to fight each other once they run out of NC to shot at.

    Third issue NC ESF to be honest i have no idea what is wrong with ours since i mostly use it as a cheap taxi but if i see a convoy of VS or TR there is ALWAYS 2-4 ESF in the sky. We are lucky if we have 2 that usualy bail out soon as they see equal number of enemy ESF. Our AA cover is almost only provided by burster MAXes.

    So, looking at your stats you've got 1 kill, 34 deaths and 5 assist's; for all your bragging and BS you didn't get used to the NC weaponry that well, or that quickly, did you?

    On waterson server its the NC. But also remember that All factions should get Anti Air buffed. NC has enough advantage over the other races as it is however, So I would not complain if they didn't get Super anti Air weapons.

    The problem is the warpgates. NC have the worst placements, TR the best, Vanu in the middle.

    Solution? Rotating warpgates, do so weekly + whenever a continent gets locked.

    1. Sorry you are wrong on both points. The NC, VS, and TR weapons are not any easier or harder to MASTER(key workd here) just diffrent. They each have their strengths an weakness, if you dont or cant figure it out, switch faction to the type of weapon you can. I have played all the factions, all the classes since early beta and PS1 vetern. While here and there they may be a weapon or two for a particular class out of whack it all comes down to play style.
    2. While the 2 you mentioned are NC as stated in their own videos, more PS2 devs play TR.

    Eh, the only problem with the NC motif is how poorly people understand the proper application. We're suited to the hit and run, heavy use of cover and the proper exploitation of a coordinated alpha strike. But most of us are trying to run and gun like you do in most shooters, and that's just not our strong suit.

    Exactly my point. Each Empire plays differently, and the NC are suited to more close-ranged combat because of their recoil.

    I do shoot in bursts. Doesn't necessarily make it equal to someone going full auto.
    I should add also that the combat medic's gun is the most accurate "standard" gun and the one least susceptible to bloom... just looking at your BR11 stats. I'd prefer to have the combined opinion from someone playing one of the assault classes all the same; these are the 'real' infantry classes.

    They may not be underpowered, but they're inferior to both the other 2 factions as far as all empire specific equipment is concerned. Apart from the max.
