NC and TR New AV Weapons WAAAY better than Vanu...

I'm getting sick and tired of the same thing being repeated over and over with faction specific weapons. Its always the same theme... NC and TR get awesome weapons with the rocket launchers, the Vanu get the GLancer. Whoever thought that giving our max two of those would be a good idea, while the NC and TR get AV weapons that kill infantry in 1 volley should literally give up game design/development and just go color or something that doesn't require much brain power. The TTK of infantry for the VS max with the AV weapons is literally 10x that of the NC and TR. Nerf the living crap out of their AV weapons against infantry, and do it like yesterday. Why are max AV weapons a 1 hit kill against infantry anyway???

Anybody that argues that our weapon is "good" in any way compared to the other two obviously has never used the other two in VR themselves. I have characters on each faction and the Vanu's AV weapons are laughable compared to the NC and TR. Just look at how many FS AV weapons are used in game by NC and TR. Nothing but faction specific weapons liter the landscape as far as the eye can see. Now, the max AV weapons are comparable against actual armor, but the TR's and NC's are so good against infantry why would they bother with trying to kill armor???

Please do not even post about the VS max weapons if you haven't even tried them out first hand. You will seem utterly ridiculous and half-witted to somebody who has tried all 3 AGAINST INFANTRY.

Honestly since we are always out numbered, especially on Waterson I'm pretty sure we have to have the best players considering relatively how well we do. Everybody should go use the weapons for themselves before you comment, unless you enjoy showing off how ignorant you are.

Thats all the AV max weapons, besides a lone max shouldn't be able to take out a tank anyways. Play them all, get back to me.1

They should make the VS AV weapon have even higher charge up modes to increase its damage even more so it has massive front loaded burst damage. They should also make it so it only fires when you release your fire key. (think super metroid arm gun charge up)

To the trolls, this only implies how we're OP. It's the "they have fewer people but still kick ***. They are OP" syndrome.

Slowest bullet velocity, I believe. And just so you're aware, that damage falloff adjustment was a nerf to our carbines and SMG's, they did more damage at close range than they do now. Now our falloff functions exactly like the other two factions.

Vortex is the weakest of the 3, there is no use in discussing it.

Its the least accurate and the weakest around 2k dps behind on a full mag compared to the two others. ITs complete crap, and I hope SOE are aware of it.

In my opinion, all of the new MAX AV weapons should be crappy against infantry. I do mean Pounder-level crappiness; it shouldn't insta-kill and it should be awkward to land enough hits.

That being said, the Vortex work rather well against vehicles; I don't get those complaints. Do you people charge it until it fires on its own? Do you click-fire it? Because you only get top DPS if you release it as soon as it hits level 3.

The Vortex is pretty good, it just isn't useful against infantry like the other two. Plus, it has less shots per-magazine which is a little annoying.

The VS clearly lost the first round of balancing the new AV max weapons...it'll get sorted out.

I think they only made the new Max AV weapon weak because they'll likely be incredibly powerful with the new ZOE ability for the Vanu Max. I do think they need to have a somewhat better base damage than they do now though.

VS also lost the first round of balancing the ESLs.... Can't wait to see how awesome the "charge up" pistol will be compared to full auto pistol and shotgun pistol.

So.. let me get this straight. You're complaining that your MAX Anti-Vehicle weapon can't kill infantry as well as the other factions? How about you focus on the fact that your weapon can snipe a max speed esf out of the air with ease while the NC has to wait 20 seconds for their projectile to even get close. Stop complaining about things that are unrelated to your weapon type. Specifically, anti-vehicle. You get instant speed and a weaker projectile vs. tr medium speed/medium dmg vs. nc slow speed/high dmg.

Understand your factions role and use it to your advantage instead of whining every moment of the day.

NC's is cheap and cheesy. Just another easy weapon to go alongside the phoenix for wire/laser/what-the-****-ever gided crap. Add in the AV turret (yes, available to all factions) and cover is no longer a safe place.

It's not "easy" to hit a full speed moving ESF out of the air with the Vortex or Lancer. Easier than Fractures, Phoenix, and Raven? Yes. Easier than the Striker or other lock on launchers? Hell no. If even one does manage to connect with the lancer/vortex, you're doing approximately 45% damage to an ESF. It will be long gone by the time the next fully charged shot is ready.

Depending on whom you ask, the NC and TR everything is better than the Vanu something something...
