My weekend on Connery

Yea.. his forum profile is just barely a month old as well. Tried to find his "Explanation of how to make things better" only to find a bunch of offensive one liners attacking other people with no explanation of his own ideas. He would most likely be banned from any reputable forum. (and probably is, that's why he trolls here)

You still call it "trolling." Disagreeing with someone and having a conflicting opinion isn't "trolling."

one problem imo is that there are so many NC sucked up into the 666. there are also at least 3 major alliances on NC and we don't really get along well.

you still haven't read my explanation of the difference between an offensive comment(trolling) and an opinion (located in this thread).

there are only about 200 people in the 666. (used to be 1500, but most of those haven't played since January) Of that 200ish, only about 100 play consistently on the weekends and only about 40 or so daily.

666 is not really the major influence it used to be. *either that or more than 80% of NC still plays solo, which would explain why people say connery NC sucks.

Speaking of outfits, what do we have currently going on the server. Friend was all talking like he wanted to join a unit on Saturday.

Because you're just making **** up as you go along to fit your definition. Saying that "NC is full of morons" isn't a trolling statement, it is a spiteful statement though. But since I don't really care if someone gets upset over it, I can't really be trolling since I'm not fishing for any kind of emotional or irrational response from any individual or group. I just think that NC is mostly full of morons.

For me to be trolling, I would have to have an interest in seeing someone flip out. When in actuality, I'd prefer if you said nothing at all and just dealt with it.

The funny thing is, people seem to agree with my assessment.

Well there's the ubiquitous [666] Devil Dogs...which is pretty much the public school system of outfits. They take pretty much anyone with a pulse and for every decent player you've got maybe half a dozen mouth breathers.

Then I guess there's Outfit X, who seem to be ok...I base this on the fact that they rarely if ever annoy me. HT seems fine too. GOLD, I gave a lot of **** to in the past because their pilots were blind as ****...but either they've bucked up or they culled the stupid people from the herd and seem to be ok now aside from some keyboard turning MAX who shredded me last night while trying to hit a Vanu I was already engaged with.

I can't really say much else beyond that...there's others, but hardly any are noteworthy and idk any of these Helios ones.

There's a good bit. Most don't seem to get along, however. Some days it's like watching 4 people stuck together by bungie cord try to run in different directions.

fair enough, never really paied attention to their numbers other then just seeing them everywhere since release.

Also, There are a lot of tag less NC and a crazy amount of outfits with less then 12 players... Been trying to recruit from the <12 player outfits lately.

The three main groups that I know about are the ARA, UAC and UAC from Helios. (unless anything has changed in the last 2 weeks, have not been playing much in that time).

the ARA is us (X), HT, Gold, MDG, PG. the UAC (connery) I belive is 666, 1sts and a few others, and then the UAC from Helios I have no idea.

The ARA is mostly smaller outfits, the other two are mostly 'zergfits' aka large outfits.

I do play with Merc on my TR toon ever so often and I have played with Future Crew on my VS toon(I do want to play with both Merc and FC a bit more once I start playing this game a lot again), and they seem to regard the ARA as the best NC outfits.

Ha I know what Game / genre you came from =P. I played to many RPGs myself in the past.

MDG likes to blow up their own team's sunderers so they can put their own in the exact same spot.

This is 100% true. There's tons of butt-hurt and drama between the NC outfits on Connery, and it hamstring us as a faction. I see /leader chat used to trash talk other outfits way more often than it gets used to coordinate. So far no one has been willing to swallow their basement-dweller pride and extend an olive branch; we'll see how much longer NC can stand to exist in its current state before people start growing up.

Or maybe the faction will just totally disintegrate, like on Mattherson.

It isn't all that bad NC. You guys seem to have the largest amount of low levels running about. That in itself is a large challenge for you to get them under control and trained up to standard. I hope once you get them all trained up and free of stupid you will be back to chasing TR all over the map again. But to say the NC have no quality outfits seems to be unfair to say the least. Myself and the majority of the TTA alliance respect the ARA guys as they have always given us the best fights. And the 666 always get a bad rap but when they pull together they do have a very good core of players that perform well. And they probably have the largest active air wing on the server from what I have seen.

Now there is a whole lot of drama between the NC alliances and more well known outfits but the same goes for all factions. Can't tell you how many times I want to kill some of our own TR over here. No single faction has a monopoly on stupid as much as we might like to think. Just right now the NC inherited an unorganized mob from Helios. Since it was the proposed place for new players to make accounts for some time. Give the NC some time to gather up all the minions and set them straight and we will see an improvement among them. But for now I will still farm the living **** out of all them nublets until they learn or quit

I was hoping to see a shot of a small squad on the peak of a mountain shooting at a forest camo liberator with the Death Dealer icon on it's side as comes down to about 10 meters above them and opens up with the Dalton.

No one knows how to rush from the spawn, and when they actually do, they all just die 10 seconds later. I tried throwing nanite revive grenades cause there was so many dead bodies, and NOT ONE person responded. Including a bunch of MAXes lying out there dead.

The Helionery is the absolute biggest disaster and fail I've seen. Granted Helios NC (or should I say Heliodine) weren't always the sharpest tools in the shed either, but now, forget even trying! I thought Connery NC would actually make NC stronger, but the combination of all these NC together has resulted in mega fail.

And if you're ever at WGs, just listen at the conversations. You will *facepalm* or worse yet *headbang*.
