My two cents on DasAnfall

A lot of those guys are pretty good, I know they kill me more often than I kill them. It's not that huge though. Their aiming is very precise, I'm sure a portion of it is player skill, the other however is hardware. Their mice/keyboards/PCs/Monitors and overall settings are all set up to optimize for this game, more so than average player, more so than me. I'm sure with a few hundred dollars, bunch of hours in experimenting and reading forums for clues I can greatly improve my own accuracy and reaction times through hardware. It's not really worth it.

Whenever fighting these guys I just expect them to have better aim and try to trap them in position where I have an advantage. They die just like anyone else. Those are more of a one vs one types of cases, as far as tactics they don't bring much to the table besides having medics that actually rez. Most outfits do this already. I don't expect to stop 10 guys rushing through the door by myself or in a group of all light assaults without medics of our own regardless of what outfit they belong to.

NC Are to busy being horrible HA or TKing fools. NC doesnt know what a revive gun is and they all think a MAX crash is going to be an insta win.

Mattherson NC Suck...sadly im part of the Matthy NC. Ive shown up to fights where its like 10v3 and the NC cant take the place. I rush out and take a post or 2...and sometimes 3....but then we lose lol. So many Bio lab fights we had almost won....then I die and we lose it.....at which point I figure if these 10 guys cant take it...buh bye...

It's already too active VS side, especially later at night. Connery desperately needs about 33% of it VS pop to roll back to TR again like in the good old days when they pretty much decided all the Alerts.

She was warned multiple times to stop farming the Enclave everywhere they went or a mass report from the very top all the way to dagger 17 would follow. Clearly the system works.

Daggers 15-17 seemed like pretty dangerous fellows.

well imo, the op got some point, all sport/game have 2 types of players amatuers/casual and pro/mlg pro (in this case), and since the pro guys here doesnt have any boundaries to set them appart from the casual guys it make the game a bit less enjoyable, i think what SOE should do is to make a pro only server, where u need to make an application,require,and stuff to join (so no one would just join in randomly).

Jackhammer is my Equalizer. Fight FCRW every single night on Connery with a 40%+ VS pop. Those guys have to hate me because I win alot of 1v1 gunfights against them. Only because of Jackhammer.

Ya Matherson NC are terrible. I had a br40 toon there I deleted it the other day.

Venting out in this thread, along with the constructive comments by DA members and the rest of you guys, have definitely helped out not only with the frustration of DA kicking *** like they ran out of bubble gum but with enjoying myself on Mattherson NC as a whole. I haven't bumped into them yet to see if I'm still getting murdered faster than doing the Kessel run at under 12 parsecs but I'm willing to bet I'll be more motivated to shove my intestines back in my chest hole and getting back in the fight

This is a hell of a way to get introduced to forumside, when we're helping one another with the game rather than trying to nerf everything that does so much as chip your manicures

Haha, you thread made me laugh, but apart from that, the only difference I saw about them (meeting them during one of their scrims where I shamelessly participated without their consent) is that they actually aim for the head. They are good played yes, but it's mostly they aim for the head, with a quick reaction time. A few peoples do it, the reason it gets frustrating might be because everybody (that I saw at least) would aim for the head in that outfit. Normally you'd get one from time to time and just take it as another loss, but there you see how big of a difference it makes.

PS: For the record, it's better to play vs good players. Otherwise you just tend to lay back because of how bad the average is. And yes, i said it without shame, the average is terrible.

In a way I get this post. Sometime I just want to log on and find a decent fight against people who are on my average skill level and have fun. I can die as long as I know that I can get the guy back.

I don't play on Matherson but I have ran across DA when they play on Waterson so I know how awful it is running up against them. However I do not have the luxury of playing against the other side since on Waterson we have Zaps on one side and NUC on the other if you play NC. Whatever you think about them both those outfits have really good shooters. NUC has taken a hit to activity but they still have their beast players.

Because of this I took the other mentality. I hunt for these players. I want to find them and fight them. My K/D (which is bad anyway) will go down. However when I kill a ZAPS and NUC player that I know is good, It feels like the only kind of significant victory in this game. Especially when I 1v1 them in a fair fight(which doesn't happen very often).

This is the problem/strength of planetside. There is no ladder. The best can play the worst at any given moment. You can find and go up against guys who you would never be able to play against in other games. However you also HAVE to play with those guys even though you just want to have fun and they seem to destroy that because they are so good.

Yeah I have a TR and VS over there, depending on what the populations look like. I haven't been in game much recently but the few times I've logged in there have been some crazy VS overpop. (Which is cool with me because I do love getting to play my TR. )
