[Vehicle] Mustang AH

I think the average person can still do fine with M30 Mustang AH, I just don't think the average person taps into the killing machine potential (variety of targets, multiple targets per run, and lethality on Vehicle targets) of it. The average player won't be able to aim/position to get multi-kills per Mag, or understand the Line-of-sight control techniques to safely approach a Burster and knock it out. They will also and will struggle more with the A2A side where the short range and small Mag nature of M30 Mustang AH will reward players who can close to target, keep close range and control facing to target, and maximize bullets on target per window of target-in-sight and non-reload.

In contrast, I think the pre-Nerf Banshee was easier to use, and for average players to tap into it's killing machine potential.

Which is exactly why it was (over)nerfed. As I said before, the AH isn't really over-performing, but that doesn't mean it's exactly fair either. Stealth + AH = instant death for most things, and that's a bunch of bull.

    Ah ha, from in game

S1 is slower, and it's the only one. You're right with TR and NC, the G2A is slower. THeir default is 110 m/s

VS's launcher is slower without explanation. Always has been, even before Lancer. Now with Lancer, VS don't really complain about RL velocity, but with the default, it's there.
  4. LodeTria

This is actually wrong. The airhammer is the best AI gun vs armour too. Anyone who's driven harassers against NC should know this. The PPA is pants and so is the bansheee, only the airhammer is a somewhat threat to ground vehicles.

The airhammer is the best at everything right now, AA, A2G vs Armour and A2G vs Infantry.

S1 is slower than the locked on Nemesis. Dumb-fire the nemesis and it takes a hit to the velocity. It used to be faster regardless of being locked or not in the past (back then the nemesis was my go-to for this very reason) but that has since then been fixed (even labelled as a bug fix in patch notes when it happened).

We agree for the most part.

I don't think all Alert Wins are completely divorced from balance issue insight, but there is just too much other noise for any safe/easy objective reference when looking at them as just the W/L/D stat.
  7. zaspacer

Which units do you think AH is too deadly for?
  8. CMDante

MAXs, infantry, anything lighter than a Lightning.

Thats a pretty wild tangent to go off onto tho dont you think?
One second your talking to me about alert wins, the next your referring to rascism and your not talking about me.....

So you didnt call me out directly in your post, but it was implied, you just took the cowards way out so you could deny it afterwards (like you are doing). Sorry but i called you out anyways and now.....again.....your trying to make me out to be the one with the problem..... Tho im guessing in your next post youll tell me you were actualy talking to Santa Claus....

Your use of **** is absolutely hilarious, and does actualy now make you look like a pre-schooler, sorry man.

Reply.....dont reply, im done with your crap, not gona waste my time going around in denial circles.

I guess tonight I'll take screen shots of TR and NC default dumbfires then, because THEY have 110 m/s

No, 100m/s is the dumbfire speed of the G2A lock-on

If you lock on it flies faster than an ESF can fly, it goes up to like 300 or something.

G2G lock on's have a dumbfire velocity of 120 or something (saw it had an even faster velocity while looking through RL stats). Not sure how lock speed affects that if it does at all, I've never ever ever used one.

Ultimately, it's not a great big deal. VS has Lancer, so complaining about RL velocity now just seems silly... it IS a disadvantage for fresh players though.

Alright since you like being picked on, you are a racist pedophile that should probably cut themself into bits.

    Feel better?
  13. Flag

If it locks on it goes the listed 100 meters per second (used to be more). By comparison an AB racer reaver goes 370 km/h or ~103 m/s. Mosquito and Scythe are slower, although by how much varies.
That said, the missiles have limited flight time, so if you're far enough away, the extra distance before the missile catches up to you can be enough to exhaust the missile.

Ground locks are faster (115 m/s) but you're right. Other than the price the Lancer is practically an upgrade for most intents and purposes.

It's important to note that these listed speeds are only during the lock-mode. Dumb-fired they're all slower, not quite as bad as the Decimator, but worse than the defaults.

These are also good to look at

They should nerf AH so that it isn't as effective vs. MAX. That was one big change they made to the Banshee.
