[Suggestion] More Ranks Available for Outfits

As an outfit leader with an outfit that is getting more concentrated daily, it is growing increasingly difficult to organize the rank structure. We have 10 ranks we use, and using the 5-rank system is very limiting.

I know I speak for many when I say: we would like more ranks in the outfits.

its for organization in their outfit. Try running any gaming group that is decent in size without organization and you will understand.

Agreed, it helps feed peoples egos a bit too. For example, I have been a private in my outfit for a while now. Being a private means you ar a trustworthy member who has completed a training course. I am perfectly fine with this, however, some people want a little more, but aren't ready for NCO duty yet. Some ranks along the lines of PFC, Specialist, and Corporal would be nice. After NCO you could get Warrant Officer or Lieutenant.

More ranks are defiantly needed especially considering that people who only want to continue to use the 5 rank structure can continue to do so, its a no lose situation.

Let's try and get 250 up-votes. With that many supporters behind this idea, perhaps SOE will see how much we want this and implement it!

The game totally needs this. Alternatively, if there is any concern about some people not liking a lot of ranks, then SOE could add a dropdown feature in the UI, where the outfit leader could select if he/she wants to set the outfit max ranks at 5 ranks, 10 ranks, 15 ranks, and so forth.

When you have outfits large enough to field two platoons, only 5 ranks really start to feel inadequate.

I hope SOE will consider this request as 100% good for all and with no negatives (other than development time).

Outfit leaders should be able to add as many ranks as they want and name them.
