Ugh. The Daimyo. Or VS Ghost? Seems similar.

    Ugh. Bias for fps users.

This is why PS3 is best if half of the classes have the option for helmets that reduce headshot dmg by 40%.
Traded for weaker legs or something.

I'm just not a fan of headhunters with 100 fps or 120fps, killing everyone with 40 to 90 fps, & thinking their smarter players when they are just twitch based fps headhunters. Meh. I am fond of strategy over twitch gameplay & headhunting isn't strategy, it's usually just " who has the better pc wins ". Headhunting may as well be P2W.

Similar to how lame a counter strike no scope sniper is. Now every game has to imitate having their own version of a counter strike sniper, when the sniper rifle for counter strike was always the worst part of counter strike. Heck even Warzone and maybe other battle royals had to nerf their snipers from 1 hitters to now 2 hitters only. So Warzone has no 1 hit snipers anymore or last I saw, they only have 2 hitters. That is to say scout rifles only.

Then again even when you miss a hit and have to follow with a 2nd hit, that still seems too fast for a engagement. For this video. Since you're just swaying from the door frame for the first hit, then resway again for the 2nd hit, which gives zero time for anyone to equalize the 1vs1 with a regular rifle. Without a 1 hit shotgun. Not that people are fans of 1 hit shotguns either.

If people had half the classes with the option to have stronger helmets, what does that do for player skill? Makes every headhunter lose their damn momentum, which they should lose that. & have to think before they shoot, rather than just rely on twitch muscle memory.

What new player is gonna want to play a game where they keep getting peek shot to death from a 0.1 sec response time, which isn't enough time to respond? None of them. Esp futuristic fps, where helmet resistance has a excuse to have more resistance. Wasn't a fan of Halo Infinite snipers sniping enemies mid air from a jump pad.

Anyways still respect to your skill, you're fast. You know the playstyle is hated. Just getting ptsd flashbacks of qcq snipers I've tried to knife or ambusher jet toward.

One way to fix this is just give engi the 1 hit snipers if you must and only allow 2 hit scout rifles for infils. Which still wouldn't be a fix, as you didn't need to cloak escape for most of this video. & didn't need stealth to setup most of your kills either.

This is a medkit issue, nothing to do with the gun or the players skill. I'm all for removing med-kits. This would allows the player to retreat and be slowly auto healed or healed by a medic.

The solution is for fps games to nerf sniper dmg at short to medium ranges & only allow for high dps at far range.

However then everyone has to avoid open areas to walk around, which is lame, so then 1 hits at far range also need to be taken away favoring 2 hit scout rifles only and deleting 1 hit snipers from the history of fps existence.

As for medium and short range, the sniper would take 3 to 4 headshots to kill, making it near useless, thus fair at those ranges. Why make it useless at medium and short range, well it's a scope weapon used for scoping. So it makes players have to use their sidearm for short and medium range.

This video mentions shotguns are somewhat fair verse snipers, less the snipers are holding defense. However I don't find 1 hit anything to be that fair. 1 hit knives & 1 hit shotguns. Everything requires reaction time to entertain.

Also wth if you're going for "realism" which is this counter strike fiasco, then wth " real " combat soldier for these middle eastern campaigns was using a sniper rifle to siege a qcq situation. Zero.

Even when you see the movie " American Sniper " he was perched at a patio, he wasn't assaulting doors. Theirs no military ad, that shows some soldier running around with a sniper rifle turning corners with it. They are all hiding with ghillie suits.

In real life: snipers are hidden, stationary, engaging from distance with a bolt-action weapon and abysmal RoF. The sniper rifles are heavy, difficult to swing and delicate.

    In PS2:
you can't hide because the graphic engine does not allow you to hide/camouflage anywhere
weapon precision is not affected by movement
you can run for 12 hours, stop and then hit a target 500 m away
the effort to swing weapons is not modeled
you acquire the target with a x12 scope in milliseconds

All this crap leads to use a sniper rifle in CQC...
