Metallic effect, produced by collision of bullet with wall, impacts performance for additional 2,8s

    It's fixed on PTS, hurray! Reposted from reddit in case this bug returns or something similar happens. This forum is currently the best place to systematically collect and contain bugs after closure of Issue Tracker.

    Summary:
    Look at how FPS freezes on 42 on the video (ultra). It's present on all particle settings.
    All other effects stop impacting performance approx when they ended (0.2-0.3 seconds).
    Weapons with many pellets (especially NC maxes) are affected the most.
    1. Doesn't matter if you are the one who made a shot or not.
    2. Doesn't matter if effect is behind textures.
    3. You're affected as long as you look in the direction of where metallic effect happened and 3 seconds hasn't passed.
    4. Noticeable AOE is approx 5-10 meters (I'm GPU-bound, 5-80% FPS decrease depending on amount of shots and distance).
    All battles where bullets land near you suffer from it the most (e.g. close combat or massive battles).

    *Upd* Metallic effect consists from 4 different effects on ultra (yellow and orange particles effect, flying yellow particles and smoke). This yellow particles effect, which is present on all particle settings, is most probably the cause.

    The same happens for Cortium which also has it and VR NPC without shield (different effect but performance impact is weaker). I didn't try on other people.
