Why is it that members have to wait to get into locked continents while other non-member, free-to-play players are able to continue to play on these locked continents. I think non-members should be kicked at random to let members into locked continents. Flame away.
This is stupid, i bought an alpha squad and probably like 100-120€ but i refuse to suscribe, its an archaic bussines model and i dont want to support it, why should i be penalized for that if im a paying costumer?
You don't have to be penalized for not subscribing. If a member wants on a continent the game finds one of the freeloaders who haven't spent a dime on this game and kicks them off. Flame away further.
Sorry but no. You paid for priority in queues. Not the right to kick out some random player just so you can fight on Indar.
After the latest Indar alert on Waterson, I'd have to disagree. As a matter of fact, I'd go even further to the other side and suggest treating non-members as members after they've been in the queue long enough. I literally just waited in the queue for Indar for an hour and never got any closer because members kept joining in front of me and pushing me farther back. It got to the point where I was pushed back from #20 to #38 and there were twice as many members as non-members in front of me. Members already get quite a few other benefits, so I believe this one should be toned down, because it actually is actively detrimental to non-members.
No way -- subscribers already get a decent deal. Non-members cannot get on the alert continent during primetime (members keep taking their spot), while members have a decent chance of getting in. Speaking as a non-member who has spent a decent amount of money on the game, I don't mind that members get that advantage -- they did pay for it. However, membership isn't so worthless that members need even more benefits, and I do not want to see one of my squad/outfit mates booted for some random member. Additionally, "freeloaders" provide a massive benefit to SOE as well -- they deserve their playtime. Sure, they don't pay SOE directly, but they provide enough players for the paying members to get good fights. SOE needs to treat them reasonably well -- if SOE stomps all over them, they will leave, and the game will be worse for everyone. Be happy with the fact that you get to jump in front of the queue.
So many non paying members jumping in so quickly to voice how they as non paying players should be treated the same as paid subscribers.
People seem to assume that just because someone isn't a subscribing member that they aren't a paying member and I have no idea why. I've spent money on this game, I intend to spend more. Am I a subscriber though? No I am not and I probably never will be. I am however very much a paying member. Guess what? I disagree with this suggestion. Just because you're a member doesn't give you the right to kick other people out of the game or off of the continent, where they are likely playing with their outfit (where kicking them would hurt the effort) and possibly have spent money on the game but just don't like the option of membership. Get off your high horses, you have your benefits already. Suggest some that don't harm the gameplay of others if you want more. Without free to play players this game would be dead, they have a right to be treated equally even if they aren't given queue priority.
