Like ESFs and Liberators, MBTs should have their special abilities as a passive. ESFs and Liberators have had afterburner as a passive for quite some time now. All MBTs deserve to have there abilities as passives as well.
This would open up the non empire specific abilities for use. Same across factions so balance issues would be small, possibly inconsequential. The added abilities It would toughen up MBTs vs each other, vehicles, and infantry a bit though. On the definite upside it would add variety to the gameplay. Players would need to cert into those. Any cert sink is good for Daybreak so you might get it considered if you did a formal submission. Go to the bug forum which is just a redirect to their bug database tool. Sign up and submit it as a design change request.
That change would result in everyone equiping fire suppression just to stay competetive. Smoke screen is a joke. Also, not sure it's fair that the Vanguard gets extra HP from fire suppression (wiki says flat 12% of vehicle health and vanguard has more base health). I'd say it would be an indirect buff to the vanguard were this change made.
