I've been trying to establish a pattern but it seems to be happening randomly. Often there are no engineers around so the only way to get ammo is to run to an equipment terminal and click resupply. Sometimes when I get there my default class has switched from Max usually to light assault. Most of the time it's set at Max where I left it and getting ammo is quick... click resupply. Unfortunately when I least expect it after resupplying several times I don't notice that it has switched to light assault and I'm stuck waiting for my timer on my max to run down while the sky outside is full of aircraft....then the process starts all over again. I can't quite put my finger on when this happens or why.
Yep, dont get into a rush. I like hanging out at the Sundy in open field so I can quickly switch betweet AI/AV/AA. What you mention has never happened to me. Always default back to LA when I am killed, though. Jump into a vehicle or air after and get a surprise when I get out to repair. Sucks
One thing I just learned is that it is not necessary to hit the "Resupply" button to get your ammo replenished. Just hit the "Return to game" button in the upper left corner and you will go back with a full stock of ammo. Since you're not hitting the "Resupply", I don't think there is a class change, but I will pay closer attention next time.
OMG all this time all I needed to do was hit use and escape and I'm all resupplied. Thanks for this...I hate all this clicking around with the mouse.
