They don't already? I was under the impression that MAX render range is now the same as vehicle render range from a few patches ago. I know I've been in defenses where I've had a Mosquito on Amerish peaking through a mountain range and hitting me with their cannon (and ripping me up). He was a several hundred meters away. Took me a while to figure out what was hitting me because of his extreme range. I wish he was close enough for me to spot him so I could see the name - would have sent them a bravo. Didn't kill me but made me seek more cover which reduced my view of the sky.
