Mattherson, Rejoice! The Enclave Has Quit!

Things have been going badly since the end of Beta. The game "launched", and I use that term as loosely as possible, far too early and needed at least another 4 to 6 months of closed beta. No metagame in sight after 6 months will do this to players. And no, Alerts are a joke of a band-aid fix.

Either way if one of the most well known outfits has decided the game is no longer worthwhile then I'd say that's not a good sign.

It's not like this will collapse Mattherson TR. He was just an average skill player who had hordes of medics and engineers to keep his character alive whenever he played so he never had to fight anybody alone, and never walked in without a clear advantage. There's real organization on mattherson TR without him, only change will be the end of his otherwise endless ego.

We all reach a point where we play a game to death, for some it's takes a long time to reach that. However, from a previous post it's said he has 83 days play time, i expect he wants to take a break. The game is not going downhill and i think it's improving with every update.

The leaders of my outfit quit a few months ago, they didn't like the way the game was going. I think everyone needs to take a break from time to time, because when they come back everythings new and different.

No matter what anyone thinks of The Enclave, they were one of the largest outfits in the game. If they leave, even half of them, thats a pretty large dip in player population.

Say what you want about Buzz's people skills. The fact that he could maintain such a high average sc/hour over such a large amount of playtime while surrounded by/leading such a large group (zerg as many want to call it) means he was doing something right. You don't get a score like that by ghost capping the majority of your playtime.

I don't really give a damn took a platoon of my outfit to hold of 2 of his so There's really nothing being lost here. Fight back and break their momentum and they run like chickens.

This right here. All the bravado about warpgating factions every night (complete lie), they conveniently bail out right before outfit vs outfit matches.

We win 80% of all alerts, every day, all day. The TE hasn't "warpgated" anyone in weeks and are now losing to VS day after day, consistently. Now that the TR doesn't have overwhelming numbers advantage against the Goons (because we've consolidated into one outfit) he is taking his ball and going home.
