Matterson VS and Indar

No, thank the TR. Every time we push on your warpagte, the TR push on ours. There are no good VS outfits on mattherson, except maybe DA, but they tiny.

I always thought the NC suffered from COD Syndrome more than us since they have a rock theme song and are all about freedom and only doing only what you want to do. TR is more of unity bound faction going by traditional conservative values, which isn't normally a COD Kiddies strong suit . That combined with the fact there seems to be way way more cannon fodder on the NC side which is why I have so many more NC kills. I've literally had Phoenix HA's run out in the open to stand still and take aim at my 2/2 Prowler XD

We have had many discussions about this in chat and my experience with my three empire alts on mattherson before I settled on VS is that tr is mostly made up of cod kiddies.

The warp gates alone tell the tale as VS warpgates are pretty much silent whist TR warpgates are a cacophony of prox chat dubstep and other annoying crap.

This doesn't even touch the pubbie squads and platoons which are some of the worst in any game I have ever played.

Just working off my personal experience. Granted both my TR and NC alts never made it past br 5 the level of public play was so bad so things may have changed in the many months since I last logged into them.

Look, I'm the first to criticise NC platoons for being all over the place, but I'm speaking as someone who's never touched a console (or PC) shooter prior to PS2, heck the last console I owned played Sonic the Hedgehog. Making generalizations about the intelligence of the actual playerbases behind each faction, given the population size of the game, is an astounding exercise in poor statistics.

The leadership of a faction may be weak, which is a much more plausible argument since that relies on fewer people. A credible statement could be made that TR or VS has more competent outfit leaders than NC, since the population samples of outfit leaders is small enough that variations in capabilities would matter.

Saying that the average NC player is somehow less able than the average TR or VS player however would fail you out of STAT101.

Also, BR 5 doesn't indicate nearly enough time to know what it's like to play inside a faction.

Its a bit longer than you might think when you didn't use any boosts or premium membership to up the level gain rate.

Anyhoo it was more than long enough to decide that at least the public portion of TR and NC was less than optimal for my tastes.

Again not bashing TR or NC outfits in general just the pubbies is all.(not even TE really, its just that buzzy makes them such a tempting target for forum fun. )

I agree on this. Although it is regrettable that the TR had the Indar lock snatched out from under them, I still hate when the TR use this as an excuse for the extended possession of the Indar lock by the VS. I'm not accusing you of this, I'm just saying. It isn't the hackers fault that the VS have held Indar for so long - blame lies with the inability of the other two factions to break it.

Well yes, that's a different thing entirely. It's the fault of TR and NC that VS has kept the cont lock for so long. Mostly NC I bet.

He was no-clipped inside terrain beside the control point, which still allowed him to shoot at everyone around it while making him immune to enemy fire. It just made it impossible for TR to actually make a defense to hold the hex. He also was teleporting from hex to hex, so I doubt TR would have been able to stop him even if they knew where he was going.

I actually had no idea that a script-kiddie was involved when the actual push to break TR's lock was being made. But I saw the footage afterwards and it was pretty appalling. I just hope something like that doesn't happen again as it was literally the most game-breaking instance of exploiting I've ever seen.
