Massive FPS drops since last Patch.

Hey Guys.

Since the last patch i have Massive FPS drops.
Even in small fights like 12-24 i have only 25 fps (i had 70 before) in zergs it drops to 5 fps wich makes this game unplayable.
I feel like playing Crysis 3 on a Windows 98 system.

Also people from my clan report same while other report everything is fine.

Things i tried.
1. Delete Useroptions
2. Tried different Settings.
3. Reinstalled Graphicdriver (did not work so i done step 3)
4. Reinstalled Windows.
5. CPU oced to 5 GHZ (wich brings only a few fps more)

All things with no result.

Did anyone have the same issue and know how to solve this problem?

I'm having the same problem - it's like they undid the OMFG updates.

After the main patch, the 50MB hotfix, and the 50MB emergency patch, the game is still broken. Crashes repeatedly, extremely choppy/laggy gameplay. Nothing wrong with your computer, OP.

Odd. The game is running so smooth post-update on my medium-potato computer that i actually turned a few settings up from medium.

You must be thirsty for those frames.

apparently there is a problem with 2 threads deadlocking each other at full load for 1 core each. The temporary solution can be found here: https://www.reddit.com/r/Planetside/comments/410ig4/temporary_fix_for_the_100_cpu_issue/

Download Process Explorer and kill the two threads of the ps2 process that are on full load (per core). It solved the hitching for me.

The energy fields or whatnot (the little things that create a forcefield of sorts) will lower my fps considerably more noticably than before. Especially in bigger fights. It feels like a downgrade when it comes to performance really... =(

Yep, still FPS drops in large battles, hitching and dissconects every 5min.
Unplayable

Latest patch is still crashing for me to. Completely locked up on me while driving a sunderer. After about 2 or 3 minutes nothing working, the window went away to a dialog box stating Windows is looking for a solution to the problem.

I've seen the opposite on my computer. I usually don't have FPS issues except when I was changing loadouts. Before the patch I would always lag out hard and FPS would drop to 0 for 5-10 seconds while the loadout was loaded. When I change loadouts now It's instantaneous!
