Mass increase on all vehicles since OMFG1

    I previously made a thread on the assumption this change was only directed towards aircraft. After speaking with different players and reading the results of the previous threads it has become clear that SOE has implemented a game wide increase of Mass on all vehicles in game.

    Those who are ground based players might find your vehicles taking more damage on collisions or even reduced handling on key vehicles. Those who fly are much more likely to notice the same sloppy and slow controls we now have since the change. Made even more apparent when your aircraft is critical as we lose all momentum and fall like a rock now. This is all due to the Mass of vehicles being increased without SOE ever mentioning it in their patch notes.

    This on top of the fact that no SOE devs have responded to this issue means they either again screwed up and released code accidentally or have attempted to sneak this upon the community. If this change has affected your game play speak up and share it. You are not wrong there is something different after that last update and SOE won't do anything unless we make a fuss about their mistake.

    Yeah, I certainly noticed this when I was trying to land my low hp mossie... The thing dropped like a rock. An official response would be appreciated.

    This would explain some of the handling issues I've had in my mossy, lib, and harasser. Can we get a one way or another post?

    Even worse for lib pilots, those poor guys have even lower odds of landing it successfully now.

    I want the old gravity back. Maybe they have changed it thoughtlessly to increase the drop speed of drop pods. I can't imagine that they have changed the mass of every vehicle. This would surely go into patch notes.

    It's like relearning how to walk, but if my legs were lead. A bit tired of stealth changes to vehicle physics, but this has been the strangest , and most annoying as it accentuates the issues with vehicle physics.

    All vehicles are having issues that can be explained by a increase of mass. I wish that it wasn't so but they snuck this in or accidentally goofed.

    Weapons that bring you down to the critical lvl of HP, critical lvl of HP that cripples your vehicle severely and cries for Fire suppression,.. working hand in hand.

    Its annoying when they don't announce changes but,.. the players tediously find out every little details anyway. :)

    Pretty much zero; a flaming lib is a dead lib unless you've landed it in a warpgate.

    I kind of noticed but than seeing as I know the figure it out method I quickly destroyed the majority of tr at howling pass for a solid 2 hours in my mag.

    Still waiting on some kind of response from SOE so we can at least know if this is permanent or soon to be fixed.

    was flying for a good portion of yesterday, did not notice any change and was easily able to land while on fire.

    maybe the reaver was unchanged?

    Some feel due to its better vertical thrust it was less affected while in hover.
