Ties in with UberBonniseur's line and contains a heap of valuable observations. Volume is low, so you might need a headset, but it's a good watch. Apologies for anyone that struggles with a quietly spoken Australian accent. Not going to embed the whole series, but it's interesting to watch someone with a practiced eye discussing Esamir base design. I only have limited level design experience, but I had no dramas understanding the concepts he was discussing. Apologies if this has been posted before.
Oh yeah, you need patience. I almost gave up but I'm glad I stuck with him. He does waffle at times but hey, I just had it on in a side-window and paid attention when he was highlighting stuff. Also, there's like 2 and a half hours of observations, so I hardly expect most people to sit through it all. It does, however, highlight a lot of good points. The contrast he draws between the new Esamir bases and the control points in BC2 are particularly interesting as someone who knows a little about level design. (Worth noting I haven't made anything since 2006, and I was working with UEd so my credentials are pretty shaky.) His talks are more about flow than anything, and it's an interesting vision of the game he paints.
