Lets make the Saron fully automatic like the striker. The striker change was a very welcome quality of life addition for both my index finger and mouse. As long as the fire rate isn't changed, then I dont see any balance changes being necessary. I main TR but I like to hop on my vanu alt from time to time and do some magriding with a buddy. Love the saron hate what it does to my poor index finger. EDIT: For those concerned about making long range precision shots, then consider giving the saron/striker a selectable full auto/semi auto fire mode.
It's fine the way it is... As far as the trigger is concerned. Instead why don't we remove that annoying recoil that doesn't even reset? :3
The CoF is what balances out the Saron's massive damage output, high velocity, and no drop. I think the CoF should reset faster than it currently does but simply removing it would break the weapon.
Sure, but if we're making it so the high DPS, high accuracy, high velocity, no bullet drop Saron has an option to dump its ammo pool in close range, then let's be fair about it. Give the Vulcan an option to unload its full magazine in a second. We'll balance it by lowering the accuracy. Sound fair?
As Xasapis said, we're talking about different things. CoF can stay, it's what makes the halberd better/consistent at range relative to the Saron. It also has a very slight recoil that doesn't reset. Just annoying.
I think you don't understand what VS want about the saron. All VS want is a full-auto saron instaid of a semi-auto one. Other weapon's stats do not have to be changed. We are just bored to break our finger on beamer and saron with their "over 9000" click per sec.
I disagree. As an experience Magdriver, I do not want a full-auto Saron. Semi-auto suits the weapon perfectly.
