Uhhhh that is the whole idea of a super heavy tank. Heavy armor, strong weapon but slow as molasses and very clunky to move around.

Think the Tiger and Tiger II (aka King Tiger) tanks of Germany. Hit hard as hell and were so heavily armored most allied weapons could not penetrate the armor except from the rear but was slow as hell and easily out maneuvered by the more agile lighter armored Shermans and allied tanks. And even then it took sheer numbers swarming it to take one down in a fight due to its firepower and armor.

Some of the ideas are better than others but the base idea is awesome. More guns. A different armament on the same hull defiantly changes the whole gameplay of the vehicle, rl ww2 comparison for those who played WOT, basically the different vehciles are often times the exact same hull just given a different gun or modified in some way.

A TR giant chain-gun tank would be awesome, they already got a sort of double gun system anyway and like chain guns. Best example, which of couse comes from the Baal predator of 40k, that again is in the iconic TR red.

Lol, not boring, just massively ineffective, so you find yourself dead alot and therefore, you have no fun, and therefore, they are boring....

It stems from the 45,000,948,289,938 nerfs Tank guns have received......We went from Tanks being deadly and moderately scary, to tanks being a ***** joke......a pair of HAs and an Engi can hold off a horde of them with just dumbfires and a rock for cover.

The Katyusha was named after a Russian WWII song about a girl thinking of her boyfriend who was off at war. The lyrics were:

Apple trees and pear trees went into blooming,
River mists began a floating flow,
She came out and went ashore, Katyusha!
On the lofty bank, on the steeply shore.

She came out and sang she song about
Her young friend, the bluish eagle from steppe
All about the one she dearly loved,
The one whose letters she treasured and kept.

Hey, a song, the song of the young girl,
Fly and go after the bright Sun,
Find a soldier on the distant borderlands
Say hello from Katya waiting long for him.

Let him remember the young and simple maiden,
Let him hear the song she now sings,
Let him protect his Motherland for sure,
And their love Katyusha will protect.

Yeah, still has that semi-grim yet attractive Soviet atmosphere to it. I don't care what people say; Soviet music ISN'T too bad. Thanks for explaining it, man:)

It is interesting when you look at "non-propaganda" songs from WWII, namely about what war does to people in a relationship.

For example, from the Axis side consider the German "Lili Marleen" song:

    Underneath the lantern,
    By the barrack gate
    Darling I remember
The way you used to wait
T'was there that you whispered tenderly,
    That you loved me,
    You'd always be,
    My Lilli of the Lamplight,
    My own Lilli Marlene

Time would come for roll call,
    Time for us to part,
    Darling I'd caress you
And press you to my heart,
And there 'neath that far-off lantern light,
    I'd hold you tight ,
    We'd kiss good night,
    My Lilli of the Lamplight,
    My own Lilli Marlene

    Orders came for sailing,
    Somewhere over there
    All confined to barracks
was more than I could bear
I knew you were waiting in the street
    I heard your feet,
    But could not meet,
    My Lilly of the Lamplight,
    my own Lilly Marlene

    Resting in our billets,
    Just behind the lines
    Even tho' we're parted,
Your lips are close to mine
You wait where that lantern softly gleams,
    Your sweet face seems
    To haunt my dreams
    My Lilly of the Lamplight,
    My own Lilly Marlene

The Brits had Vera Lynn's "We'll Meet Again":

    We'll meet again,
    Don't know where,don't know when,
But I know we'll meet again, some sunny day.
    Keep smiling through,
    Just like you always do,
Till the blue skies drive the dark clouds, far away.
So will you please say hello,
To the folks that I know,
Tell them I won't be long, (i wont be long)
They'll be happy to know that as you saw me go
    I was singing this song.

It's a familiar theme across any side in war. Mostly because the people who end up fighting wars have more in common with each other than they do with the people who ordered them into war.

I'd just settle for an de-nerfing of the HE and HEAT cannons at this point.
