The SOAS-20 is ridiculously loud with a silencer on it. I think it may even be louder with one than without. The VS scout rifle is damn near silent with a silencer. The NC's is kinda loud, but nowhere near as bad as the SOAS-20. Please, for the love of god, lower the volume on it 0_o
/irony mode on How dare you distract the developers to introduce a minor change that would take them five minutes! A change that should have been made a year ago! The insolence! They are so busy making 12 new VS alien helmets and reintroducing 3 new supposedly fixed bugs, and you presume to take their attention from that important task?!
But... I like being able to hear any suppressed scout rifle within five hexes, how else will I locate the infiltrator?! Cloaking isn't nearly loud enough either, it's not like i've had cloaking wake family members a room away when i'm using my PC speakers.
If I remember correctly a suppressed SOAS-20 shares the same audio with an unsuppressed BASR (but firing full auto). Life...
