LOW AMMO CAPACITY FOR ALMOST ALL VS GUNS!!!

as a VS if you switched to infiltrator because you couldnt get a kill at med range with carbines wich are probably the most versatile and effectives weapon for med to long range actually, just think about leaving this game .

the fullauto scout rifle are actually underpowered thats a fact, but you shouldnt frontly attack a HA anyway , and if you come from behind close enough you will still kill it easily.

and btw, farm , take your time , spend 600 certs in anti infantry mines , and you get 2 instant kill on whatever you want.

thats BS NC Stalker auto rifle get 20 ammo per clip too.

thats why its called HEAVY assaut, and i really doubt about the 3/4 of a clip at a such close range.
as an infiltrator you shouldnt engage a HA if he's already 20 meters away. or as is said , cert , drop a mine on a strategic place like a door take your gun , shoot a few hits in he's armor wait till he see you and take cover, he will mostly rush you 100% sure that he will spank you hard , and just been instant killed by your mine.

I see you not read carefully. Your bad. I do not know why you appeal to me for leaving game. I can get sniper rifle and headshoot enemies. I can get granade launcher to insta kills. I can jumo to tank for easy kills. I can buy rockets and have more easy kills... But NO, I like Infiltrating so this is why I choose Scout Rifle and than recognize that it is just a JOKE! If Infiltrator get totaly invisibility when no moving but sometimes you must fire and if you fire first to enemies back and he just turn and kill ya because you need to reload because you not hit 15 bullets from 20!! at close range ..

PS: Try it ... you will se that 3/4 of a clip is real - tested by outfit members.

I'm VR. Ammo capacity is ok.
If you are missing too much and cant kill enemy at close range with 1 magazine - l2p.
If you can survive long enough to run out of bullets - find yourself an engineer.
    Or buy ammo-belt.

    And stop whining.
  4. HiTeHa

I do not know what is VR but you may stop posting before and try yourself what I complain about (and read full thread - Iam sick of noob answers from users which read just last post and do not understand where is problem).

I gotta say, I am fairly happy with what the Lasher has become. High capacity, accurate, and high damage.

Nothing else infantry-related really matters to me at the moment.
  6. HiTeHa

Outfit mate have it and he is happy too. I personally prefer different weapons but I see I will recert to Light Assault With Salstice SF with granade launcher ... because Infiltrator as Scout (not Sniper) is unplayable atm.
  7. Olliekitty

It's one of the few weapons I've found that doesn't have the very same-y feeling to it that others have suggested. It is very different to anything else the VS has to offer.
  8. Syber Cid

HiTeHa your complaints have been answered. Instead of responding you change the scenario and try to push an agenda of adding ammo to VS weaponry. The problem though as its been pointed out, you are simply playing incorrectly or to be blunt, learn to play. VS weapons have low recoil and increased accuracy, this should make it easier to land your shots on target. And yes while they run, move, dash...ect, you should be doing the same thing. Instead of requesting more ammo in the clips and sticking by a fallacy that its a design problem, follow the suggestions of your fellow players and try to use new strategies to optimize the benefits of these weapons.
  9. HiTeHa

So if something looks wrong you advice to leave it?! Just try something different? No, thank you.

From my play, weapons of same type at each factions have +- same recoil and accuracy. BTW I not want nerf or buff something. I want get chance to increase ammo in one clip because 20 ammo is for Scout Rifle too small. If you compare rate of fire x damage x some miss (because of not smooth moving animations, lags etc.) it is very hard to kill someone in one clip... after that this weapon is useles .... maybe you will just skip it but I want to balance it.

I read all your posts, while you are focusing on the scout rifle now, you have mad arguments to increase the clip size of the Carbines as well since you specified having difficulty killing players at medium range because you run out of ammo. From my experience in beta till now, playing all 3 factions currently I do have to disagree about weapon accuracy. As it stand VSs weaponry does have an edge in recoil and accuracy but they lose out in pure damage per shot to the NC and RoF to the TR. But lets get back to the Scout Rifles, I'm not saying skip it. What I am implying is that if you feel its to difficult to use the weapon efficiently then perhaps the fault is not the weapon. You admit to difficulty hitting with other weapons which implies your not overly accurate. You also have setup scenario in which the Scout Rifle is meant to lose anyway. You as an Infiltrator will never stand toe to toe and kill a proficient HA before he can kill you. In reality even if it takes a majority of a clip to kill a target, as an Infiltrator your first priority after entering a shoot out is to seek cover, cloak and hide. When you shoot enemies you should be doing so from behind and hidden well enough to avoid retaliation. Finally as a Infiltrator your primary role is to sneak into enemy bases, hack turrets, terminals...ect to prevent the enemy from using them on your allies as the assault the position. Even if you stay at Long/Exreme ranges, you better server your team by picking off weak troops and focusing on Medics/Engines and Enemy Infiltrators.

Mind you this is not the only way to play, but simply how the class was designed. When you stick within the confines you will see that while the weakness of the chosen weapon is frustrating its necessary to keep the class correctly balance within its role.

I think you not understand what Infiltrator can do and you not know weaknes of stealth. FIRST: Infiltrators are not totally invisible even when they not move! You can not just sit and be invisible. SECOND: Using stealth ability is loud and can be heared to 40meters (tested)! Stealth is for get from one point to another with high chance not to be shooted. If you will meet enemy face to face, you must fight and if you are lucky you win. In most case I can get behind enemy and fire from good position. But you must kill him fast before he can react on you. But full auto to moving enemy and lead so many hits to kill him is very hard! And if it is heavy assault with shield on, you can count on that you will need to reload ... but enemy will have many time to kill ya first. You can not hide like in ps1. So your advice to shoot, cover, hide is wrong! If you not kill that enemy, he do it you. So my opinion: 20 ammo is wrong! More high BR player will come, they will upgrade armor, weapons etc... this weapons for light assaults / infiltrators will be useless.
  13. Syber Cid

I understand the Infiltrator perfectly. I play every class through the course of session based on the situation. If the squad I am in needs Support I move to medic/engineer....ect. Now I know exactly how the cloak works, however what you need to understand is that cloaking and hiding are very 2 different things but both are essential to the Infiltrators role. Do not stand in the open, use nooks and crannies, shadows....ect. Infiltrators especially VS are very difficult to spot even uncloaked against base backdrops. They blend in nicely. When you are sneaking around and see an enemy your are confident you can engage and kill, ensure you have a exit plan. If they have friends show, if you miss, you HAVE to be ready to run and regain cover. One thing you should not be doing is hammering them full auto. Aim and burst. Tap the mouse button. If you aren't spraying bullets at you, you get another few seconds of cover as they try to pin your location down and spot you. Again though its all situational and sorry to say, it really comes off to me that you need much more experience in playing Planetside 2 or FPSs in general. Practice makes perfect, play better, use caution, and learn. In the world of Gunny Highway "You adapt. You overcome. You improvise" .

now if only it made some sound
and was had its aiming reversed
last I checked it was more accurate hip firing then ADS
  15. Olliekitty

You are correct that there is very little difference as long as there is a laser dot added to it. It seems that the spread increases a lot faster when firing from the hip, though.

Until they add a reflex sight to it, I don't think that should change. The VS ironsights are too big and clunky to be of any use. Unless you're standing right on top of them, the dot in the middle will take up a large portion of the enemy body.
  16. HiTeHa

You never play Infiltrator as I see ... No-one can stand in the open place! Even heavy assaulters! TTK is small and every 0,1s count! Try to shoot to the enemy with Scout rifle in burst! You need around 15 bullets to kill enemy. After first shoot time is running. You have weak / fast firing weapon and enemy can kill ya much faster because of light armor! If you will play it, you will know it. Your advice: "problem = just skip it" is wrong and your posts only show that you have nothing to say about this problem!
  17. Syber Cid

I understand that English is not your first language so I can forgive your misinterpretation of what I am saying. Here how it breaks down. If you can't get kills as an infiltrator or be an effective in the class when plenty of others can, then you must accept that your lack of ability is the problem, not game mechanics. I do play an Infiltrator and never find my K/D suffering. Using tactics I described which are commonly used by many others we don't run into your problems.
  18. HiTeHa

This thread is useless now. I SKIPPED THIS PROBLEM by picking Heavy assault class and got Lasher. I can fire over 15 seconds without stop, can warp so lots of light infantry units need to reload before they shoot down my shield and I can beat vehicles too.

Some days ago two light assaulters jump on me and they both start firing on my back. I turn on my shield and start warping left to right etc. When they shoot all of they ammo and start reloading, I smashed them down and laught for long time. So can someone delete this post?!
