would it be possible to not lose the platoon or squad lead after a dc crash etc we have to fight the leader when we log back to have the lead and often enough we dont have it .....
If you log back on quickly enough the game won't even realize that you had gone. At some point, some mechanism - player-driven or game-driven - has to make the call that the player has unexpectedly logged out and, if that player had some rank at the time, a new leader has to be assigned.
