I've currently switched over from Mattherson to Waterson and decided to only play TR. I was apart of CML and TE while I played on Mattherson and I'm looking for a solid outfit to join since I miss the team aspect of the game. If anybody could point me towards a great group I would greatly appreciate it.
IRNG is a group of team players who like to get stuff done quickly and efficiently. If you're into that sort of thing, pop into our TS and talk to a CPT. TS IP: ironcladrangers.servegame.com:9987
Welcome to Waterson TR! Like doom said above, feel free to check us out in IRNG (formerly LG13). We're a smaller outfit, but we strive to operate in an organized and disciplined way - though we're plenty good at derping around in fun mode, too. Just hop on our TS sometime, and see if we're what you're looking for. Of course, there's several other TR outfits worth checking out, too. I'd also recommend checking out the following: TRAF - a larger outfit (500+), but one that doesn't just zerg it up. RMAR - if I had to find a new outfit tomorrow, this is probably where I'd go. Lately, they've been running some excellent public squads. QPRO - good people, effective outfit. Seems like I haven't ssen much of them lately, but I believe they're still around. IR - ditto the above. HSTL - their modus operandi: get drunk, do something fun/awesome/ amusing, ???, then profit. All of these outfits have TS servers - I'd encourage you to hop on at least a couple of them and try the waters. Again, welcome to Waterson, and merry CHristmas!
I honestly don't know how we pull off some of the stuff we do. It's mostly a drunken blur of bad ideas, excessive C4, and foreign accents Either way Aander has us summed up perfectly if you want to say hello we're at ts.hstl.org or http://hstl.org
Do you want a competition driven outfit or one that runs ops only and just likes to have fun and play the game for what it is?
Join this steam group and you will be notified of the 20 minute exercises covering the basics of drill command and the application of infantry formations. Learn how to march and you can join the outfit. This outfit teaches leadership. Everyone gets a chance to be a soldier, sergeant, first sergeant, and officer. I taught cadets how to march for the Airforce Auxiliary, I am confident I can teach anyone how to move together. http://steamcommunity.com/groups/napoleonicdrillinstructors
Aside from ones already mentioned, I see good teamplay and coordination from a couple other smaller TR outfits: TWO4 and C22
