Howdy all. Don't know if anyone here remembers me. I used to be a active PS2 player and was very active on the forums. Was on Mattherson (which I've heard is now Emerald). Anyways I had to leave PS2 due to my son being born. Now that he's a year old, I've got just a little bit of free time again, and was wondering how PS2 is doing? Is it worth coming back? I miss the fun fights and scale of PS2, and from what little I've seen on youtube, Hossin looks great.
Hey man, you timed your return pretty well. Hossin dropped today and so far it looks pretty cool (albeit unfinished), and the server merge between Mattherson and Waterson means there's big fights all over the place. Give it a shot.
Hey hey. How about that. I figured all the old hands would have left the game or something, yet right away pop up two vets who I remember. Nice to see some familiar faces. I didn't know Hossin dropped today. I actually figured it had dropped a while back. Haven't seen any news about PS2 in over 6 months, so I am wayyyyyy behind the times. Catching up should be fun though
Most definitely! Emerald has constant battles on all four continents, Hossin was released, a bunch of balancing and optimization has been done, and we have continent locking now. All in all, you picked the best time to come back.
Emerald TR is going to be Waterson VS soon, by the looks of it. I hope you're a skilled spawn room warrior.
Nope, sorry. My sister was quite skilled at it. I never quite learned how she did it. Only thing she ever taught me was how to noobtube effectively. I was never a "skilled" player. I always exposed myself stupidly and got a ton of needless deaths. But I had fun.
Hey Vert, wb. Hossin + server merger seems to have breathed new life back into Ol' Matty. I hear TR hasn't been faring too well on the new server tho (dunno, haven't played on Emerald yet). Lots of bases have had their defenses buffed so infantry trying to defend a facility don't get farmed quite as much by vehicles as they used to. Libs were recently nerfed so they're not quite the Wrath-of-the-Gods-Raining-Death-From-Above that they used to be. Oh, and ZOE got nerfed into extinction around Christmas so that alone should make you happy.
Hossin, continent locking, outfit base capture, outfit recruiting just came out, and Emerald is pretty much full or has tons of fighting all the time. Now is a pretty good time to come back.
Heya Eren. So far the changes sound good, as does what I've seen of Hossin. Can't wait for the download to finish so I can actually log in again, try some of the new weps and such. Lol yeah, that sig was how most people remembered me. It was also how I felt during my first week of playing when I had something like 600 deaths for 30 or so kills.
