This is a problem I have spent over 3 hours trying to fix. I start the launchpad. After logging into my account, I start the game. The game usually waits at 4%, then jumps instantly to 96% and pauses for 10-15 seconds before crashing. By crashing, I don't mean my screen pauses or my computer freezes eternally until I pull up task manager or log off. I mean that it closes down the same way that a program stops as if you ended it with task manager and I end up back at my desktop or steam. I have reinstalled ps2 multiple times. I have also validated game assets multiple times. I have logged off and logged back on. I have tried running launchpad as an administrator. Nothing works. Please help!
