That aim is painful to watch.

I am such a bad, lol.
Just drives the point home that much more.
  3. Shanther

Good luck doing that with the Betelgeuse.

That aim is painful to watch (No offense liberty, my accuracy is only 25% too) but he is pretty casually aiming at them in general and massacring people in a way that screams this weapon needs more recoil.

Isn't the Betel even MORE accurate, though? He won't be able to swathe multiple targets because of clip size, not because of his/the weapons accuracy.

That distance recoil really isn't going to have any real impact. Hell I shoot the Betelgeuse out to much longer ranges then that and it has more COF (iirc) and has more recoil because it lacks a foregrip.

See above. The Betelgeuse is less accurate then the Orion is. People's stats don't really show that but it is true.

Honestly to any skilled FPS player recoil doesn't really mean much once you get used to it. Use a weapon long enough and you can make it look like it has no recoil.

Yep, that is exactly how Orion feels, just aim in their general direction while holding mouse 1 = kill.
Cyclone SMG on my NC works the same way.

That video is supposed to be a joke right ?

The Orion doesn't have particularly good accuracy as can be checked with its stats. As for the Bull, if you consider that 2 guns are similar but one is better makes the lesser one relatively useless (which i 100% agree with), adding a .75 movement multiplier isn't going to help at all: the most comparable LMG to the Bull isn't actually the EM1, but the NS-15M.
Basically the NS-15M is everything the Bull is (similar damage model, clipsize, high accuracy, good hipfire, attachments choice, velocity, CoF) but better: better reload, .75ads. That's not a fair trade-off for a not so great advantage in dps to the Bull.

For reference, The same kind of situation is found among VS ARs between NS-11A and CME: the NS guns do mostly everything the other 652/143 guns do, but with .75ads and better hipfire.
The Polaris isn't a headshot machine either (cf. the previously mentioned spreadsheet), at least no more than other VS guns. I suppose what gives the impression of greater accuracy is the lower RoF, but when you pace your shots...not really an issue. VS LMGs aren't great either apart from the usual suspects.

Thing with the cyclone though is that even with ex-mags I often seem to be short of 2 - 3 bullets. My accuracy is bad though and I probaply should feel bad.

I've aurx'd the msw, TMG, rhino and bull and on the whole the most bang for your buck would be the MSW. Its cheap and very effective. I was quite happy to buy a 3.4 scope and a foregrip and thats it. Its a very flexible weapon and feels more like an AR weapon as oppose to an LMG.

The TMG love it or hate it is the TRs only hard hitting weapon and i would credit this weapon for allowing me to tolerate playing as the TR and the miller server itself. before the nerfs, i had a 3.4 scope and a RDS. I had fallen out with the foregrips at the time so i would outfit my gun with RDS instead. Its since switched the other way. Its wasn't bad, but not sure what its like now though.

The Rhino i don't really remember much about it tbh, it was effective and the large number of bullets help and i found it generally accurate. The Bull i recently completed had mixed results. At first its a bit cack and nothing dies not working very well during short, mid or long ranges, other days i play a blinder and very successful with it. But that's partly because of luck, strange hit detection and the such. Its limited bullet capacity hurts this weapon and for 1000 certs if i was being honest wasn't that hot.

....But i would still use that weapon over the carv. That weapon is AWFUL in my hands and i loathing going back to it to aurx that thing. I very much have a love hate relationship with it. I hate the fact that it works poorly beyond 30-20m so in most engagements where i like to play a support role its rubbish and the inaccuracy makes it frequently terrible close up. You have to burst fire to make the most of it (whereas some guns work well enough to hold down the trigger till the person drops), it lacks ammo attachments, it unreliable during sustained encounters as the bullets are weak taking nearly 20-40 for me to put anything down with it, its slow to reload and i frequently lose out to 1v1 encounters with the weapon. I've tried different scopes x2 and 3.4 and no luck. I've tried using foregrips and RDS and get uneven results with it. I've even tried experimenting with using a flash suppressor and its not been much good. Who knows? maybe after more practice i might make it work for me, but atm its terrible and its very tempting just to buy the NS LMG and use that.

I have the carv-s but i haven' really used much and i switch to it once in a while when i switch weapons and such. It feels more like a controllable carv-s but its not spectacular to use.
