The spitfire's cooldown reduction from the engineer's certs isn't applied when switching to engineer, but is correctly applied when resupplying once again as engineer. Dying (or redeploying) as a non-engineer, respawning as an engineer, then placing a spitfire, also applies the same incorrect 35 seconds cooldown. and, the same way, dying (or redeploying) as a non-engineer, respawning as an engineer, then placing a spitfire, applies the correct cooldown (20 seconds in my case).
