I don't share much about the specifics of why threads are closed very often but I thought I'd share one thing I look at. If I can't find a single page of a 9 page thread that doesn't have a personal attack, it's an indication it needs to be closed. We certainly appreciate your concerns and it seems like you guys had discussion on and off so at least there is that.
