Hi, I discovered something strange in my statistics page. I made 659 Kills with the NS-15M2 and was granted 172,213 score. With the EM6 I made less kills, but I got a much higher score there. Anybody knows why? Thanks :-D
You're seeing the score while you have the gun equipped, so it depends on actions other than just kills. May also be affected by any boosts you have, when you had them, and double XP weekends etc...To name a few possibilities.
one of the reasons is, that you will get more xp when you kill an enemy who has killed several players and/or earned a specific amount xp. on the other side you will get less xp when you kill an enemy who just spawned edit: here you can see how many xp you will get for a kill without xp-bonus
Depends what you were doing and where. If you were attacking an enemy base solo (no squad) with the NS-15 you will gain less points than if you were defending a base with your squad because of: Defending bonus XP Sticking with squad ^this is especially true if you dont actualy manage to cap the base your attacking. There are also additional xp bonuses for example extreme menace bonus, it would make sense to get more extreme menace from defending than attacking since the enemy players have been alive for longer. Then theres the population xp modifier, if your empire was underpopped you will gain additional xp because of that. Other things also help like completing the 'mission' generated by the mission system, double xp weekends and boosts.
I didn't know you can track the score you earned with a weapon. Or is it all XP you earned while having it equipped? Anyway, in theory you could have simply gotten lucky with the EM6 and killed more high-value targets. Since your NS-15M2 goes at 261 score per kill I assume you have a boost on top of your membership. So basically - 1 extreme menace killed during an alert while underpopped on the continent: 900 XP. I level 3 killed under "normal" circumstances: 200 XP. Also: Killstealing ESFs with LMG and such. I can point out possible causes, but it is impossible to find out for sure.
Experience related to other things regarding the kills - killstreaks, ending others' killstreaks, menace bonuses, etc.. Those things really do add up over time.
afaik the infantry (non-max) kills are shown correctly... for some i am definitely not sure, since for gal and lib kills it shows '???' - so... pretty much not the best source i linked there
