First the story, then screenshots to follow. 10 of us were rushing a generator at Zurvan Amp Station and hiding in the room as long as we could. It was like **** Zombies. We had three medics, an engineer, a couple heavies, and a light assault. At first, a trickle. Then a steady flow of VS were assaulting our bunker. Eventually it turned into a ****show (after 15-20 minutes) and we were pushed out. We snuck back in from Rust Mesa Outlook, and had a go at round 2, which only lasted about ten minutes since an outfit of VS were still ready. Then Americium gets a whisper from Kwanza [9VLT], who commends us for our bravery. He inquires of a skirmish, and we oblige. The rules we set were as follows, and just fell into place as we went: 1. NC and VS prepare a squad of 9-12 people each. 2. A remote location is decided on to fight at, unhindered by random by-passers. (Abandoned NS Offices, Indar) 3. The teams split via a cardinal direction relative to the base (North vs South) 4. Both teams converge on the squad leader, who drops a spawn beacon in a hidden location. 5. First team to kill the enemy spawn beacon wins. 6. When the spawn beacon drops, a ceasefire is called. 7. Only spawning on the beacon is allowed during a match. 8. A sunderer is allowed for respawning between matches. We were actually interrupted by a puggie, PaidtoWin from Ethos. After he killed a couple VS and didn't see us shooting, he realized something was up and I invited him to join us, and he obliged. These guys are good, and they beat us 4-1. yeah was good times. the abandoned ns offices was a pretty bad place to hold this mostly because of the layout of the base but it was quite a bit of fun. I think 2 of the matches half their squad was infils. LOL yeah that was tough. GGs though. Personally I would like to see no infil's so we can have longer matches.
It was nice to see us get together and have a totally fair and square skirmish. No funny business, everyone was mature and civil. A great change of pace

As a 9vlt, I look forward to more of the less competitive, fun things we can do across factions. I've been wanting to do Pirate ships, cross faction flash/gal races, and interfaction dance parties for a while. (Harlemshakevideopls) I wasn't at the scrim yesterday because I stayed back to lead the remaining squad members in the regular squad, but from what I heard you guys had a blast.
I believe Weatherford has similar ideas on this. I personally refuse to fraternize with heretics for fear their Xenos Technology infect me with their heresy.
Yeah so I cant believe I forgot we could have done best of 5 12vs12 knife fight. Would love to see 12v12 light assault only knife fight. That would be hilarious. Could even do 3 faction 12v12v12.
