Leaving Planetside 2 is very, very tempting at the moment.

    And here's why:

    1. That death map.

    2. Spawn camping is not being dealt with in ANY way by the devs.

    3. The game crashes every 15-20 minutes.

    4. The game is being invaded by MLG, making the development go in the wrong direction.

    5. The faction traits don't exist at all, when it seemed to be emphasised in multiple launch trailers back in 2012.

    6. Planetside 1 is being made free-to-play in April, I will be going there for the true Planetside experience, not this washed down "spawncamper's edition".

    I agree with all those points except the MLG one. If anything, they keep lowering the bar for new players to learn anything.

    go for it, there is alot of good game out there ATM, rust,arma 3 (my personal favorite),dark souls 2,payday 2,titanfall (not sure why people hype about this one havent check it), also yea let it go for a moment, its healthy to you and to the game, since more the people leaving maybe they'll get their **** together, since right now the update were having is a rushed content instead of polished content/gold (check my sig for more)

    i hope cause MLG stuff they gonna consider removing coyote and hyena missile those thing remove any need for skill in the air.

    I personally believe the air game in PS2 is the ONLY place where they could lower the skill ceiling and make the game better as a result, so in my opinion, the Coyotee missiles are ok ( the Hyena sucks anyway, it's not even worth the 30 minute trial )

    yea but i mean, why cant air be the HARD mode to learn i mean it felt great you were able to handle ur self in the air decently, making it easier kinda dumbed down the feel of achievement,the problem with coyote is its super easy to use by spamming in the general direction, also whats the reason behind learning to aim a primary weapon of a vehicle is weaker than the secondary counterpart, for example do you reli more on basilisk of an MBT more than a main cannon, this actualy should go for esf since the NOSEGUN is your primary weapon, you should rely more on it than the coyote.

    1) Just press the space bar

    2) Can be a pain but just go to a different battle

    3) Never crashes for me, something might be wrong with your computer

    4) lol, This doesn't happen.

    5) We don't want them, Every single time they make some unique that is good for a single faction we scream for nerfs

    ''We don't want them''? I would not say no to some changes that made faction traits matter so choosing factions would be more than choosing cosmetics.

    I don't follow MLG, but isn't it entirely based around twitch mechanics? That's pretty dumbed down in my opinion...it would be nice to have a competitive game that relied as much on intelligence as it did twitch response times...

    Titanfall is gaining a lot of hype due to the drastic degree of mobility you have as a soldier. You can wall run, hang, double jump, and all sorts of nice movement based mechanics.......................then they threw huge hulking mechs in to just up the appeal, but incorporated a mechanic that lets even regular pilots take these mechs down.

    The lack of actual faction flavor in this game is actually one of the main reasons many people left, below the lack of a meta-game of course. The development team's problem is that they have only dipped their toe into the lake that is faction flavor...and they seem incapable of deciding if they want to swim or towel off.

    This game could do faction flavor as well as Starcraft does for their three races..........but they aren't going to the extreme lengths needed to make it work.

    Invaded by MLG is a bizarre thing to say, since they have done almost nothing to support it. Those MLG decal stickers don't mean anything.

    A lot of the outfits that were interested in competitive play have either disbanded or moved on because of the lack of support.

    1) I mean it as in: I don't want stealth ruined in Planetside 2. Enemies now know where you are and solo flanking is now useless.

    2) Very often a different battle is boring because I am now part of a zerg which is also spawn camping.

    3) All other games work fine, and the game never crashed for me before the latest updates.

    4) Yes it is: nerf after nerf proves this.

    5) A good majority of people want more distinction between factions. Your "we" must mean "the MLG people" which you are part of.

    See:
    1. More low-skill lock-on weapons (Coyotes, Hyenas)
    2. The detailed explanation of where the enemy is death screen (which would have been straight up kill cam if we hadn't complained)
    3. Lack of concern for faction balance (the TR have nothing going for them, and VS have very little)
    4. Prioritization of launching new weapons quickly (as in Liberator update with no time for feedback on the test server)
    5. De-prioritization of new content in the form of new combat environments (the Nexus Battle Island is finished, seen it with my own eyes)

    In doesn't ruin stealth, INF is my second most played class. When you shoot someone they know where you are.

    Just adapt, Use that information against them. Adjust you position a little and ambush them when they come looking for you if you feel more people are chasing you. Any player who would be a threat already new the correct direction before they even died


    There are no MLG players here, This game will never be looked at or cared by MLG.

    i think thats pretty logical since titanfall just take everything thats popular and mixed it up together like parkour(ASScreed)+cod+mech(hawken?)
    but i just dont understand why would people like another arena shooter, i mean arent they bored yet,with so many new intersting type of game that offer diferent gameplay like arma 3,dark souls 2,and rust, which have more gameplay value to it and doesnt involve fighting in the same closed arena (which im sick of).

    reason either higby nanites, or this game is starting to become a money grab/p2w due to the ammount of EZ/p2w weapon released.

    "Adjust your position" is not really a solution. If they're intelligent enough they'll know to expect you and react accordingly.

    As for MLG: that is the problem. SOE keep insisting on balancing any slight thing they can so they can harbour MLG players which don't exist.

    This is not true in my opinion. The players can't even handle the current meta game.

    2 weak faction attack the strong faction with out getting all misty eyed. They can't handle even more.


    RTS is totally different, You have all the units at the same time, You have everything you need to be balanced. People don't like it as much in FPS because you don't have everything at once.
