    Which one?

Depends if you prefer accuracy or fire rate :) With advanced laser sight the Jaguar is pretty much in SMG territory with hip accuracy, with the same fire rate and damage as the TRAC-5. It also has access to soft point ammo.

Lynx doesn't have the same accuracy but if you can aim well it is lethal in close quarters. It is limited to just that, however, thanks to its mental fire rate. It is very fun to use - drops targets very fast, especially if you can headshot.

Jaguar. Lynx is just a glorified SMG that wastes bullets.

Hmm I just got auraxium on the Jaguar and really liked it. Pretty good as an allround weapon i found. Not super accurate but decent enough. Would really recommend this gun.

First impression on Lynx (only maybe 15 kills so far) : Looks cool and kills FAST. Looking forward to play more! :)

Hmm I dont understand this. Why does it 'waste' bullets? What does that mean?
I press click with the Lynx and people die. Why is that wasting?

This is not an attack I just dont understand your meaning, sorry

Edit: Even if you dont like the weapon, what attachments is most recommended for Lynx?

I'm not quite sure what he meant by that either, though the Lynx does more or less act like an SMG (though it is more controllable than one). As such, equip it with a reflex sight of your choice, advanced laser sight, and the mandatory soft point ammo. Its hip accuracy will be good enough to nail headshots with 15 metres or so, and you'll be surprised how accurate you can be with ADS. I run a suppressor on mine for additional surprise/run & gun tactics, but it'll hurt your muzzle velocity somethin' fierce, so definitely only for close range.

I'm with you, I think it's a really fun weapon, and drops targets very fast indeed.

Jaguar is the almighty CQC hipfire god.

I find that I wind up vastly over-killing people because it fires so quickly. By the time the other person's dead, I look down at my ammo at realize "Oh, I only have 7 bullets left" whereas with guns that have a slower fire rate but higher damage, I find it easier to control the amount of bullets used so that I can at least get 2 kills with 1 magazine. Sometimes even 3. So when comparing the two, I think the Jaguar is much more efficient than the Lynx. Heck, even though I also hate the Armistice, I'd even prefer that over the Lynx.

And as far as attachments go, the laser sight and SPA are pretty much what you want to get.

High fire rate is a powerful trait for CQB, so you want to maximize that with soft point and laser sight.

Jaguar has a little more reach, and can touch people from a little further away. Lynx is king of CQB but isn't nearly as effective at mediume range. If you're looking for a more long range oriented carbine I can't recommend the HC1 Cougar enough. T5 is also a very solid 'jack of all trades' weapon. Though I only used it for medium range fighting only till I got my HC1, now I can't see myself using it at all.

Jag with als, spa, sight of choice.

Jak wszyscy go polecają, to go kupię. Chociaż Lynx przypomina TRV Cycler.
  12. Corezer

it depends largely on what you are trying to do with your weapon.

if you are setting up to be a cqc hipfire commando with ALS/SPA, then your best choice would be the Jag, even though the lynx has superior RoF and TTK.

if you like to ADS with forward grip, the lynx is a better choice, even though the jag has superior damage per shot and ADS speed.

Lynx is still pretty hard to control in medium ranges due to recoil, for me.
  14. Iridar51

Compared to other CQC carbines, Lynx's recoil pattern is pretty stable overall. It pulls hard, but predictably. Not saying it handles like an angel, but a skilled player will probably be able to squeeze out a bit more range out of the Lynx than from the GD-7F / Serpent.

hm. what is the consensus on the cougar?
  16. Iridar51

That it's the best TR carbine for ranged combat ;)

It's sort of "meh" compared to beasts like Mercenary and Pulsar C, but it's not THAT far behind. It's a good weapon, quite usable, and definitely one of my favorites.

The bittersweet irony is "best TR carbine is the mirror of the worst NC carbine", as Cougar is very similar to Razor, which is - as far as 167 damage carbines go - not very interesting.

After Araxing the Lynx and playing around with the NS-11C and the Jag. I have to say I like the Lynx better

I am just playing the Lynx but i dont see the big advandedge here.... so lynx is cheaper ;-)
