So I've just reinstalled Planetside 2 after a PC upgrade and am keen to see how it performs but I can't seem to get past the launcher. The launcher will load correctly but then when I click "PLAY" it will say "PLAYING" for a few seconds before returning to the "PLAY" state. After about 30 seconds, the launcher will then simply disappear. I have tried launching PS2 directly from its directory but that doesn't work either, giving me an error saying "The application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)". Suggestions? Cheers in advance.
I get occasional issues like that (launch pad simply not launching game) I have found no fixes on this forum or in Steam forums. I simply have to close the planetside 2 process (ctrl-alt-del; start task manager; etc), and try again, eventually it'll work but it is frustrating when it happens.
@Statboy Thanks for the reply but this solution hasn't worked for me. The game doesn't open at all and so when I go to end the process it isn't there.
