Lattice did ONE thing right... It got people off of Indar better than Alerts ever did!

And that's about all it ever did, the rest is poison in the system to the game. And remember kids, there is no such thing as ghost capping, you were either too lazy to defend, or you are such an over-entitled gamer, you think you should not have to defend against anyone, regardless of the size of the forces.

You really had to make your own whine thread and couldn't use the others instead... ?

That must be why I can never get into Indar in prime time, all those people not in there.

    Wait, that makes no sense...

What are you the forum nanny, going around kiboshing people's threads? You going to report him too?

Agreed with OP. Loving Amerish battles now. It's like the old days when we could get a queue onto both Indar and Esamir... Except Indar's a ghost town and Esamir's as full as Amerish. Love it.

Yay, I single LA spend 15 mins running to the base behind the one we are attacking to cap the point, now myself and 1 or 2 others have to leave the MASSIVE BATTLE going on at the next base down the line, you know, the one they are barely able to held, to fight an epic was with a single LA and otherwise waste 5 to 10 mins of my life...Wooo. You can still do this fyi. My platoon literally just had it happen to us 3 times at West Highlands Checkpoint while assaulting Indar Comm. array. So ******* dumb. One. Single. Light Assault. stopped over 100 people from progressing with the fight.

    Absolutely fan ****-in tastic.

I have a great idea. How about we reinstant ghost capping but add AI guards and auto turrets. Thats more like real life. Yeah, do that.

Hahahahahaha! And out of 100 people, two or three couldn't hang back for a few minutes to prevent exactly this from happening? Ahahahahahaha! What's it like at the left side of the bell curve?

I'm just tired of seeing interesting threads being pushed back to page 2 and fall into oblivion just because people think their own little and unoriginal opinion is worth a whole new thread.

Its the lattice. We were evenly matched. This battle at Indar Comm had been going on for the better part of 30 mins. What do you want us to do? Post bloody sentries? Maybe rotate them, give them a watch rota? If I wanted to literally stand around all day doing nothing Id have actually joined the army.

I'm on Connery, Indar always has a que. What server do you play on?

This thread is new and exciting.

I think he plays on test server... we have ques on Indar every prime time and to be honest, my Outfit played Indar even more then before. Lattice has brought back the fun to Indar :), can`t wait for it on Esamir and Amerish

Yes. If the render distance actually permitted things like this, I'd suggest having your hangers-back carry long-range sniper rifles or Lancers.

Come on. Just listen to yourself here. 100 people should be able to jump headfirst into an unproductive (30 minutes with no point flipping!) zerg grinder without even having to worry about the base they just came from?
  15. WUNDER8AR

What I personally hate even more than wasting 5-10 minutes of my life while hunting ghost cappers is wasting 5-10 minutes of my life waiting until the base flips that has been overrun by just about half the pop of my faction and I'm stuck in in a giant laggy free for all where the only thing even remotely interesting that ever happens is people tking each other by accident on a non stop basis because of the lag and the sheer amount of players. And it's even more fun if there wasn't even a battle before since the enemy zerg decide to follow a different battle lane so we're basically still ghostcapping. Ghostcapping happens a lot with lattice currently, and to me it's more repetitive and frustrating than ever before.

Wasnt unproductive. We were nearly took it on 3 different occasions. Those same occasions we first had to wait 3 mins, sat on the point, for a few guys to go back and flip the point back. We never actually lost the point, it just went on timer. Basically, every time we looked like we were going to managed to get on point that guy ****** off to the base behind is to flip it because they couldnt actually stop us taking it. That is not a tactic.
  17. Talshere

That is a fundamental flaw. The mechanics should be built in such a way that the defenders MUST continue to defend the point right up until they actually lose. Put something like a 1 min timers on the respawn. If you dont leave it becomes a restricted area and this has a, idk, 1 mins CD before your allowed back in without dying.

That way, you either keep fighting or you move to defend the next point in line. I dont really care HOW they do it but they HAVE to stop this mentality of falling back to spawn to farm.
  18. Eugenitor

And it never occurred to 100 people to have a couple of them defend West Highlands after the first two times this happened?!

I'm sorry, I can't even have this conversation without breaking up in laughter. The fact that you're VS just makes me sad, though. Two full platoons, and not a single one of you can prevent the simplest backhack!
  19. Vashyo

And the same cycle over gameplay preference restarts yet again
  20. Talshere

Like I said. We were there fight, not babysit a point for 30 mins. The notion of posting sentries on an uncontested point is the definition of anti fun. If that is the "idea" of the game we might as well all quit now. Ive played sims with more action.
