knives? why cant i run?

of course you would slow down when you hit something. that's not the problem. you slow down before you hit anything. thats what needs to be fixed.

I dunno. That makes sense to me.

1) Run up to enemy.
2) Stop.
3) Brace yourself for a massively energetic stab because you're trying to pierce armor that a 150mm HEAT explosion cannot.
4) Use all your strength to push a puny knife that deals more damage than 20mm bullets.
5) Profit.

If anything knifing needs to be made more slow, and a cooldown added on top of that because knifing should be absolutely tiring.
