Do you understand why they killed you?

TR and NC teamed up to break the VS lock and YOU and others like YOU kept attacking the NC when TRAM decided to let the NC take X and Y bases, for example Camp Connery, we didn't want any TR there and was only there to provide support.

It didn't help that randoms started to attack the NC territories and at one point cut the NC off from their northern territories at Quartz Ridge Camp, when we saw this, orders was given for a few of players to go down there and fix it.

Get with the team plan or quit, TR doesn't need selfish players.
  2. Arquin

So it wasn't conz, tell me. I need to know. It's a TR outfit, then?

BRTD? Can't be, they're too nice for that...

    MM? Not big enough.

ROWN? Are russians capable of thinking?

    ... ?_?
  3. Udnknome

This feels like a troll. Just name the outfit and start posting video of them doing it.

As far as the SOE response, you won't get it nor should you. Outfits are player created content and should be governed by us the players.
  4. Arquin

But sustained/organized intentional TK is griefing, and a bannable offense.
  5. Crashsplash

If this was indeed the TRAM as you suggest it was I am ashamed my outfit is associated with them. If there is any truth in this I personally won't have any dealings with them.
  6. Udnknome

Naming the outfit is not a bannable offence.

My outfit had a bad reputation because about 10 of our 1500 members doing this type of thing. Know where the rep initiated.. these forums. Then it spread to reddit. Then to you-tube. Finally my guildleaders got wind of who was actually doing these deeds and kicked all 10 of them. Then they blacklisted them with the other two large outfits on the server. Thereafter, they began a campaign within the guild to require all members who accidentally TK someone in a large fight to send "Sorry" tells.

One group of 10 people doing stuff for about 3 weeks killed our reputation for 2.5 months. Still having a hell of a time recovering for those that keep propagating the story from 3 months ago.

I'm saying there is an effective way to handle this. If others have experienced the same thing as you, they will post their own proof and a discussion will start growing that won't be stopped until WAY after the behavior has ceased in that organization.

If you ask SOE to govern this, then it will only be a matter of time before they start putting limits on player created content like this. How would you feel if they put a limit of 40 people on an outfit? How would you feel if they started limiting the way that guilds promote, and what those promotions actually give you? What if you had to "Certifiy" to become a guild leader or worse, purchase a subscription to maintain your outfit? It's a slippery slope my friend, players are absolutely able to govern this part themselves, you just have to be willing to participate in the process.

    Exhibit #1

IWarriors, I logged on and saw a battle which I joined for some quick fun. Getting TK'd the next minute for not following orders which I wasnt informed about (nor am I a member of the Outfit who supposedly issued this order) upon login kinda sucks.
  8. Crashsplash

Battle Marnies of Chaos ..... :(

    this is a horrible attitude.

You excuse purposeful tk'ing when it doesn't fit with your plans.

For my part inter-empire 'agreements' are always off the table.

I'm hearing that there are some (perhaps outfits or simply rogue elements within outfits) that adopt an attitude of obey us or you will be tk'd. This is not acceptable.

If there's a plan convince us and if we don't agree then tough. Progress has always got to be by agreement and it's on a basis of cooperation not most certainly not conscription.

Question: I like an respect Oste and he has been a 'good thing' for many years in both PS1 and PS2, does he know and approve of this?
  9. JesNC

So BMC is Miller's new goon squad?

Would like an official statement on this one. Inter-faction alliances are shabby at best, and you can't really sink any lower than TKing your own faction to enforce them.

If those claims are accurate, TRAM should to put an end to this immediately.
  10. VSMars

Stuff like this sometimes happens. Too bad for you personally, but it's not like you lost much of anything while bigger things were at stake.
  11. }{ellKnight

    Wow...

Alliances like this never work simply because you don't have control over every player on both sides. IF you try to enforce these rules/alliances with team killing you'll just drag your name through the mud.
  12. nella

If by regularly you mean every day, then no. There is no outfit on Miller getting anywhere near those numbers on a daily basis to my knowledge.

OnT: I have no problems with TKing sunderers for the greater cause. The mindless zerg(OP) must be controlled somehow.

Edit: But the threats were wrong, obviously.

I am part of a TRAM outfit, and i know for a fact that neither me, nor my outfit in anyway condone team killing. Slaughtering our own team, for any reason short of gross violence on their part (and that was disturbing an operation) is absolutely condemnable and i for one refuse to take any part in such acts, and am fairly certain the majority (if not the entirety) of my outfit comrades would also take the same stance.

I'm sorry to hear about what happened to you man, its unfair that you where mowed down for orders not recieved. However i encourage anyone who sees orders given on the orders chat to at least consider them before acting, as the orders given can in general help to sway the tide of the battle on the continent in your factions' favor.
  14. Crashsplash

    To be clear.
I said BMC in a reply above but I do so because that is the outfit that iWarriors belongs to and not because I am accusing BMC of anything untoward. But iWarriors seemed to know something ....
  15. Aciada

Yea i don't know anything about the situation personally, neither am i privy on information specific to the TRAM, i don't profess to know the facts on either side but i agree that from what iwarrior said there does seem to have been some form of foul play at some point, which really shouldn't be happening.

    What a bunch of jerks

    Move on.

If you have to change locations/continents then do so.

SOE seems to not deal with Freebie hackers, but has no problem with paid TK'ers.

  19. Hosp

    I'm seeing two issues here:

    1) Organized Tking/greifing
    2) Individuals accused of not benefitting their empire(s) getting Tkd/Griefed.

If an outfit has gotten so large that it is attempting to establish full control over their empire on their server, it's a problem. No doubt about it and there should be GM/Admin intervention.

On the other hand, if it indeed was an issue of needing the zerglings not part of the outfit(s) for whatever event had been planned moving in a particular way, and they weren't listening, then yes it's an OK thing. Why? Just like a badly placed sundy, you need to eliminate where people will go for the benefit of the empire.

So if this was/is only on occasion, people need to get with the program on their server and realize, even though they're a zergling, they're still part of a larger machine. If this is happening regularly (daily), then it's a customer service problem.

One final thing to keep in mind, Lattice will reduce this issue.
  20. JesNC

This behavior can never be 'OK'. Endorsing mass TK because people don't want to play the game you tell them to can never be 'OK'. If you want people to join your event talk to them, ASK them to. But telling people to play your way or die is a dick move.

And this on Miller :,( The people responsible should step up to set things straight asap, or TRAM's reputation takes a nose dive into the gutter.
